NSW Origin Team

There's no way Turbo has done enough to get the fullback spot.

Was only a couple of weeks ago 'Turbo' put down three bombs in one game at fullback.
Tedesco isn't a favourite on this forum but he is a great footballer and should get the job.
Also hoping they don't pick another player with a stupid nickname… 'Jimmy the jet'.
Unfortunately he has never shown he is capable to focus for 80 minutes in attack, plus his defence isn't up to scratch at NRL level, let alone SOO.

Teddy will be there.
Roberts defence is a worry, it's not like he can be hidden. Like another defensive liability like Thurston… Center the toughest pos to defend in.. That said, he has the attitude aggro and speed for me... I'd pick him

Fittler been blowing smoke up Moses' ars all off season and early this year is gunna make him look a real goose when he leaves him out…. There's no way in gods earth he will selected

Apparently the Blues side leaked online tonight. Take it with a grain of salt, but…

1\. Tedesco
2\. JAC
3\. Mitchell
4\. Roberts
5\. Ferguson
6\. Keary
7\. Maloney
8\. RCG
9\. Cook
10\. Klemmer
11\. Cordner
12\. Frizell
13\. Trbojevic

14\. Peachey
15\. Vaughn
16\. Graham
17\. De Belin

Sure as hell hope not - don't want to go into game 2 one down.

I reckon this will be close to the mark. I like the halves pairing, Maloney goes better at half than 5/8 and Keary has been consistently good all year. Cleary will get there eventually but he just came back from a long injury lay off so I think throwing him into Origin game 1 would be too soon.

Ferguson? Meh, he has been in good form, but geez he can make some costly errors at times. Still he's played well at this level before and he is a specialist winger. I didn't like the idea of Trbojevic being picked on the wing just to accommodate him. It's fullback or nothing for Tom, imo, but Tedesco was always gonna be there no matter how bad his form.

Klemmer is lucky some other options for prop are injured or not available, otherwise he may not have made it and how Graham gets a bench spot in front of either Sims or Crichton is beyond me! Gotta keep a few of the incumbents I guess.

Good to see Vaughan finally make it, if this is the correct team of course! Don't get the love for Peachy though. Admittedly I haven't watched his game closely, but from what I've seen of him, he goes ok, nothing outstanding. He's playing in a great team, so that will help his cause.

Peachy is the real deal bra.
Lethal in every position.
Think he's played em all except front row.

Never disappoints.

Fair enough Demps, I'll have to check him out more. I'm usually too in awe of Penrith's forward pack and Maloney when I'm watching their games that I forget to look at what the rest of the team are doing!

He's probably the most well rounded "utility" in the comp….

Like by a mile too.
Can fill in anywhere and leaves it all on field.

Impressive player

There's no way Turbo has done enough to get the fullback spot.

The combo with his brother puts him in front of Teddy for me and its not as if Teddy has been exactly killing it.
Teddy hasn't been able to form a decent combo in a whole preseason and 12 weeks with one of the best halfbacks in the modern game, is he going to form one with a rookie half in a few sessions?

Plus Turbo is a bigger body and more versatile.
For me Teddy is a fullback and fullback only, while Turbo could play anywhere from 1 to 6.
I just like what Turbo could bring to the team.

In saying that, Turbo gets picked at fullback or not at all, can't stand it when they pick fullbacks on the wing in rep teams, or any players out of position just to have them in the team.
You don't play Garry Jack on the wing or Eric Grothe at fullback.

Absolutely, Peachy is a must have!
The ultimate no 14

Is there a more versatile player?

I can't think of a player in any era that could play as many positions as well as Peachy.
1,2,3,4,5,6,7?(not an organising player but could still play 7) 9,11,12,13

Fills a hole anywhere and does it as good if not better than who he's filling in for.

ET (Ettingshausen not Elijah) could play 1 to 6 at rep level. Or maybe 1 to 5\. But yeah not in the forwards too, so Peachy's got him beat. Is Peachey that good though?

Yeah… He is.
Massively under rated too.
