NSW SOO Team

I hope NSW and Sticky make us all eat humble pie but it looks like a grinding, minimal points no flair team nsw have gone with. Soward in the halves is a grinding player (but he does deserve a go) to me and I dont think you can play a st george style to beat the maroons but I hope im wrong.

what do u think about the nsw team :roll

Josh Dugan, Brett Morris, Michael Jennings, Mark Gasnier, Akuila Uate, Jamie Soward, Mitchell Pearce, Jason King, Michael Ennis, Kade Snowden, Beau Scott, Greg Bird, Paul Gallen ©. Interchange: Ben Creagh, Trent Merrin, Tim Mannah, Dean Young.

Just come up with my nsw B team…who would win?!

1.Hayne
2.Ferguson
3.Morris
4.Idris
5.Hopoate
6.Mullen
7.Hodkinson
8.Weyman
9.Farah
10.Galloway
11.Watmough
12.G.Stewart
13.Lewis

14.Carney
15.Hunt
16.Douglas
17.Houston

I just can't see that NSW team beating QLD in current form. Jennings has to find the try-line and Creagh needs to start attacking the fringes.

i dont think the nsw team is as weak as some people are saying but it could have been a bit stronger

Ricky Stuart must have no friends at all, he has to spend his evenings ringing players explaining to them why they didn't get picked for SOO. Could take a while.

The chosen team has no creativity and no attack, unless you count Soward kicking bombs.

This is the same team that Qld have beaten 5 times, give or take a few new names - same players, same skills, different names. You pick the same team, you get the same result. NSW must choose a new team! It must be based on Todd Carney and Robbie Farah, with Jarryd Hayne.

Sorry Cobbs,

Not on their current form. Todd Carney and Robbie Farah, with Jarryd Hayne do not deserve to be in this team at the mo.

Idris is the only one that may have a case to be sad.

PS the fact that he Stuart has called some of the other players shows he has class and respect.

you know what I found interesting this morning the article i the herald about calling alll the stars left out, all of them quoted what sticky said to them except for farah…..

Yeh, I get what you mean, but what sort of form are Ennis and Dean Young in? I'm talking about establishing a NSW team that can win. You need the most talented players in NSW to actually be in the team!

But to be in form you can only play as good as those around you…so maybe those players if given the chance to play in the NS team may rise to the occasion and their form improve?

^^^ good point

also i can sort of understand why they left idris out. he does get caught out in defense and lockyer, thurston, slater could expose him. some people could say he could play 2nd row off the bench but it looks like ricky wants specialists in positions and i dont think idris is a specialist 2nd rower. i dont mind young on the interchange because he can play hooker or 2nd row. i would rather gidley on the interchange though if he wasnt injured

I don't do apple products, they're for the affluent and/or the not very bright.

The exception being if it is part of a work package.

Ennis is in good media form

I dont think Farah's form has been as bad as what people are saying, I mean I think the team has made him look bad if anything.
On the weekend he set up 2 tries plus a linebreak assist for MacKinnon and the week before he did everything he could to get us back into the game against Souths, scoring a try and setting one up. Plus he had a good game vs Canberra.

Imagine if Ennis did all that, everyone would be saying how inspirational he is, how much skill he has, and how his form should warrant Origin selection. Example being when the Dogs lost to the Dragons.

Apparently sticky rang the players who missed out on the origin team, must have spent a lottttt of time on the phone, would like to know what he said to Farah. Agree with you Jazza Farah's form hasn't been that bad IMO the points you have made are a sign of a quality player.

morris is good at club level but once again he has shown he is out of his depth at origin. hayne and farah NEED to come into this side. get rid of morris and ennis

i think hayne should come in for dugan. farah in for ennis and idris in for gasnier. and somebody in for morris (dont know who yet). and maybe mullen to come in for soward or pearce

i think i would rather mullen come in than carney. u just dont know if carney will behave off the field, lol
