**I've seen Karwhin play maybe 30 odd times by now and i've never heard him have a go at a team mate. He is the most vocal player on the team, certainly, but it's also something we badly need. I hate how quiet teh team often is.** We're letting a big lead slip and everyone standing around in silence with their heads down. That's toxic and will almost certainly lead to defeat.
The lack of leadership in the team is what often holds our squads back at all levels. I would certainly agree that he has an ego, but so do lots of players. I can't comment on his attitude at training as i've never seen this. He's not a perfect leader but he's the only one on the field verbally encouraging his team mates too.
On his pace, everyone has been saying how slow he is, and today was the first time in a long, long while that i've been able to see him in open space and he's certainly not slow. He's not JAC for sure, but he's at least as fast as Nofo, faster i'd say. He's decent under the high ball, has improved his defence and is right up there for the best finisher at the club.
I'd definitely be offering him a nsw cup contract for next season to see how he develops. He could potentially fill a big gap in our squad, but still has a fair way to to go too.

Back on the team, it was a very good performance, save for the first few mins and the lapse before half time. Liddle and Paseka were very good. Roberts is a talent, and his 40/20 was the best kick from one of our halves this year.
I'd still like to see much more from Marsters. He runs the lines and has good strength and feet close to the opposition line but doesn't do enough of the hard yards for a player his size. Seem like a Liolevave type, doing the highlight reel stuff but not contributing enough in other aspects.
Considering we were without so many starting players we're doing really well. Half our pack and almost our entire backline have been missing for so long. If we had a full strength team we could easily win it. The fact we still might is a very positive sign.
Playing the Cowboys in Townsville on a hot and sunny afternoon will be extremely difficult though. Our record outside of NSW has been woeful this season and sadly I can't see us getting the win against a very strong cowboys team under those conditions.
