NYC Live Game Thread!

how good is he gona be??? Isnt he still 18? He will be a perfect backrower option by the time Ellis is ready to move on!

Great to see these boys play. Miller, Sironen, Polontini, Begovich, Simona have big big furtures ahead of them…

It will be very interesting to see where he ends up. Im not against him being a tall skillful centre in the Paul Mcgregor, Peter Jackson and Jacin Sinclair mould. But id say the club will look at him as a backrower.

they said 17 on fox

Amazing turnaround in the team since Sironen and Miller have partnered each other in the halves over the last 4 weeks. The front rowers - Begovich and Groat were both strong, Sironen and Miller were both very slick and have great creativity, and Koroibete while raw clearly has talent and speed to burn. A few of these boys have first grade written on them in the next couple of years.

Good to see the ''clocking off'' that was consistent earlier now seems to be put to bed, theyre playing for the full 80 now

I said it in the 20's board, I would like him to be tried in the centres. Tall and skillful centres are like gold in the modern day NRL. We also have a lot of backrow talent and not much in the centres coming through. He is going to be a very good player for our club in the years to come.

Was out their tonight, a very classy team. Miller is in a class of his own at that level, Siro has a football brain and a athlete's body ( a very rare combination). The two front rowers are hard yard boys and their is plenty of skill and speed out wide. Hard not to be impressed

Yeah your right SC See this team going a long way If they can keep 6,7 ,8,9 and 10 on the paddock for the rest of the year .

Yeah I'd like to see 2-17on the paddock for the rest of the season. Combinations are coming together real well. Obviously the 6-7 are class acts but the team needs starting props to recieve good backup off the bench which they are currently getting.

Imagine this team with Woods and Murdoch-Masila playing 😱pen_mouth: 😱pen_mouth:

Thought fullback Smith went alright for his first game but he will need to back it up next week and beyond with Tedesco coming into the equation according to coach Jones.

Great to see them come good after a slow start to the year. I reckon we need Tim Simona in first grade now, he does struggle in defence at times, but so do our current first grade centres only Simona is a much more dangerous attacking player than what our current first grade centres are.

All the above posts have already stated most of the stand outs, but geez the captain goes ok too. He doesn`t take a backward step, he`s a constant hard running option for his playmakers and puts plenty of shoulder in when defending. Simon Dwyer aside, I think a few of the first graders could learn a thing or two off watching him play.

Is Daniel Ashin still on the playing roster?

Think a bit early for Tim for NRL he still has a lot of errors in his game and that was the reason he spent a few weeks on the bench and I think played a State Cup game with Bret.

He is certainly a talent and very promising but until he removes some of those errors he would be a liability.

Good comments re the skipper!!!

Young Shaun sets a good example for the team every week, what you see is what you get with him and he goes well. Hope the Tigers stick by him.
