NYC Round 9 Team Announcement

Tue 5th May, 04:55PM

Wests Tigers NYC Head Coach Brett Kimmorley has named his Round 9 side to take on the Sydney Roosters this Friday, May 8 at Allianz Stadium.

Kickoff for the match is scheduled for 5:05pm AEST, as Kimmorley’s side look to build on an impressive 46-6 win in Round 8 before the representative break.

With winger Tom Satterthwaite ruled out until Round 13 with a knee injury, Jayden Wheelhouse comes into the side for his first game of the season.

Ryland Jacobs comes back into the side on the opposite wing, replacing the suspended Obed Karwhin, who has been stood down for two weeks for disciplinary reasons.

Bayley Sironen — younger brother of Curtis Sironen — is also set for his first game following off-season shoulder injury, named to make his return off the bench.

See Wests Tigers’ NYC Holden Cup team named to take on the Roosters in the video above.

First game for Siro Junior Junior. I'd be keen to hear how he goes from anyone going to the game.

Which Roosters side will turn up, they are the most inconsistent side in the NYC

Their results over 8 rounds
L 14-53
L 22-24
L 18-28
W 46-16
W 68-6
L 6-48
W 54-6
W 50-14

What the hell did Kharwin do to get himself stood down by the club?

Disappointing that our 2 best wingers are unavailable. Weakens the side a lot. Hopefully Kharwin learnt his lesson for whatever he did.

Hopefully Sirro jnrjnr plays in the back row when he comes on. Not much point playing him in the halves when his future surely won't lie there, and we already have some decent halves in the side.

Seve was due back for round 10\. It must have been one bad tackle I can't think of may players who have been out for that long.

Can u get rid of a coach before June 30 cause kimorly is a ridiculously bad coach! Dumb him effective now, what a joke can't tackle for quids!
Time to go Brett!!!!

NYC isn't about defence, have a look at the scores since the comp first started!.

Went to get a feed. Looks like plenty of tries have been scored. Good to see we have hit the lead again.

28 - 26 with 12 to go.
