Wests Tigers NYC Coach Brett Kimmorley has named his side to take on the Cronulla Sharks in their Round 24 clash this Saturday, August 22.

Kickoff for the match is scheduled for 10:40am at Remondis Stadium as Wests Tigers look to build on their spot in the competition's top eight with a much-needed two points.

Having posted a strong 42-point win over the Newcastle Knights in their most recent outing, Kimmorley has made just a slight change to this week's team, welcoming back back-rower Bayley Sironen from injury, with Esan Marsters dropping back to the bench.

Hala Masila also comes on to the interchange bench alongside Veiru Mapesone and Thomas Grealy, having played for the Club's NSW Cup side on Saturday afternoon.

Hopefully the boys can make it back-to-back wins and roll the Sharks. It's a pity Kimmorley can't get them to switch on and play to potential every week, otherwise we'd probably be looking at the minor premiership.

I don't get the idea of the shot clock when you can just keep it simple and stop the clock when the ball is dead or when there is no play.

stops teams wasting time in tight situations or if they want a longer break before defending
 
When I switched it on we were down 16-12\. We've looked invincible since.

26-16\. Jeez I don't understand why they can't find a way to use Marion Seve more. Every touch he looks a class above but they just don't give him the ball.

Esan Marsters is going to be a bolter imo. I reckon he's gonna have a great NRL career. Has a bit of Andrew Fifita about him. Hopefully without the crap.

Ryland Jacobs has also come along in leaps and bounds since I saw him earlier in the year. He's so hard to put down. Reminds me of Nofoaluma.

Bailey Sironen is going to be as good or better than Curtis. Won't be long until we have two Sironen starting backrowers in NRL I reckon.

Same players as last week are standing out. I'd like to see Obed Karwhin given a run in first grade now that our season is dusted. Just to see how he is really tracking. He looks like he'd make a fist of it.

Saw a bit of him as junior where he played 5/8 and I didn't rate him as a 6 at all. But in the backrow he looks sensational. Why he ever played 6 I'll never know. His running ability on the edges makes him.
