Is it true this competition is being scrapped next year? Absolute garbage to watch.
Mixed showing from the NYC boys last night .
The halves looked sharp ,both can kick.Got one 40/20
Goal Kicking was good.
Paseka was very good especially late in the game .
Papenhazun had a mixed game , dropped a couple of balls ,but looked dangerous with it.
They need to work on the 5th tackle option ,couple of time their choice didn't come off and led to a try from the opposition.
Left edge defence was poor
Both hookers played well.
Should be a test for them next week

I got into the ground with about 10 remaining. I was VERY impressed with Paseka. He attracted 3-4 defenders every time he ran and he made good metres after contact. He also got a few offloads which created space on the outside which I would love seeing Moses & Teddy capitalise on.
His defence was solid and made a couple 1v1 tackles.
I think he is up to first-grade level, it just depends on his confidence and fitness and whether JT think his ready yet.
IMO he should play FG asap.

Good for the boys to get a win first up but looks like there are still concentration issues. A bit worrying we let them get so close at the end. But then all teams struggle with defence.
Also good to hear the halves looked sharp. Will only get better, and give them a dry track and watch them go.
