NYC TIGERS

Rowe was dangerous. I haven't seen him play badly at fullback and have no idea why he was ever moved from there. Our record with him at the back is absurdly good.
Noffa was … rather off tonight. Which is good considering we won without him going too well.
Fine and Soe are both underrated.
Koroibete was just as expected, brilliant and way too good for NYC. He could be the difference and take us all the way if over the next two weeks Payto can find a way to inject him into the game more.
Mulcahy was excellent. He took a while to come on but once he did he was outstanding. He is very quick. He reminds me a bit of Moltzen, in a good way.
Miller was rocks and diamonds but once Mulcahy scored the first try it seemed to inspire Miller (perhaps out of fear of being shown up) and he started running the ball and he looks a very dangerous ball runner tbh.
(Interesting fact, Mulcahy and Miller are from the same CRL club the Mullumbimby Giants and correct me if I'm wrong but would have played together as juniors at some stage almost certainly.
Saunders was very good. A simple dummy half but does it all very effectively. Gets out of dummy half at the right times and gives good service. Reminds me a lot of Isaac De Gois.

The forwards were all outstanding. Particular nod to Nathan Brown who put his hand up all game. He is a Bryce Gibbs clone.

Watch the game again and have a look at Bradley Soe's defence, it is Soe bad. 7 missed tackles speaks for itself.

Havent seen alot of nyc this year but saw the game last night who of the current crop are most likely to be able to make the step up next year to fg.

Obviously we have a half decent side we finished forth and knocked off the minor premiers.

Miller, the wingers, santi and fotauika are the only ones for mine. Happy for others to prove me wrong

The only one from Friday that you've missed imo is Lovett. Plus a couple out injured Vela and the 2 we have seen in nrl already teddesco and Sirro.

I agree, Lovett looked strong and hungry to get involved. He definitely has the potential.

I know Lovett gets wraps but I just don't see it, makes a lot of basic errors and misses one on one tackles.

Has a huge work rate and IMO is effective, particuarly as a ball runner. I have not noticed him making too many errors.

I do remember a bad miss tackle on Evans that led to a try in the televised roosters game.

I'm really happy I can get to see a NYC game live that features the Tigers, keep it coming young Cubs, they rarely had an appearance on FoxSports and the last one I saw prior to Friday night was a forgettable one.
Hope to see them go all the way to the decider and then win the game on a dodgy call to avenge the 2009 GF.

Everyone is bound to make a couple mistakes in junior grades. Koro still makes a few but it's all in a learning experience. If they have the passion to toughen It out, give em a shot.

Lovett reminds me a bit of Luke O'Donnell for some reason. He's definitely got some potential. I'd like to see him get a bit of aggro about him.
