My fear is that we get another coach and there is still no recruiting. (of any quality at least)

I like Potter a lot and have mentioned enough times that he got a raw deal when he was here, but to be perfectly fair, he has got a bit of talent to work with at the Dogs compared to what we have here at the moment.

Doesn't say a lot about Trent's coaching efforts, or maybe it does.
 
Just watched Sundays game after reading all the negative comments on live game & related topics. I thought the referring was fair, Flanagan’s summation on the Weststigers performance is fair. I don’t know what people are expecting this season particularly with quality players leaving mid season? What I saw was a bunch of committed players doing their best, showing game plan patience & resolve. No one gave up & I believe no one should be singled out as performing poorly. I didn’t see that many individual mistakes. I am one who has stated several times over the last few years that we are only a couple of quality players short of being a permanent top 8 team, if we can hold players that we develop. Go Westsigers!

I honestly think that is all it takes. Just a couple of players every year and we will be fine.

The problem is we are screwed atm and they are already making reactive decisions.

Im with you Earl,however,blaming Madge for where we are is deadset wrong...
The blame is clearly on previous Admin,coaches and players.
We have missed finals football for nearly 12 seasons,money squandered,overpaid players in their retirement mode or players paid big money to sit out the games on the sidelines and letting good quality players leave for other destinations is what has culminated into exactly what we have here at this very point in time..
I know that there are many of us not at all pleased where we are atm,but it is now an opportunity for Sheens,Noddy,Pascoe and Lee to right the ship,for to long we have suffered needlessly because of certain agendas within the club..eg Pascoe hiring Cleary and giving him whatever he wanted because they were mates...wrong...thats why our cap was wrecked as well as Pascoes stuff up...

Not all shared the same view of Madge however we do have a poor roster , surely you can see that

Yes mate . . . I was having a crack at those among us that blamed Madge for absolutely positively everything, when clearly we have a sub-standard and pea-hearted playing group . . . no matter who coaches them.
As evidenced by our cut and paste performances in the past 3 games.
Hopefully we turn some sort of corner before too long.
