Taupau, Sims and maybe Burns. If you want to clutch at straws possibly Peachey. There's also Elliott and Scott available too but that's some serious slim pickings.

I know. There is probably a bit of treasure amongst the trash. I just thought I’d put it up there as it’s a pretty comprehensive list and some of our fellow forumers might have thoughts on those they have watched more closely.

I was going to mention him. I haven’t watched the final yet so I’m not sure of the result from the game the other day between Tweed Heads and Norths Devils

But in the pre match there was a bit of talk about him being one to look out for.

Anything you can add? And or the others you mentioned?
 
I liked the looks of hop good from Penrith in his limited time in first grade this season. Get Nathan brown vibes off him as a ball playing 13 with some grunt. If we’re going to go young, should go with it hard

Hmm club option. Might be one to talk with after the final and see if you can pick him up on a long term deal. A lock back-row with mongrel probably similar to Ray Stone with a bit of ball playing.
 
All of the good players are getting re-signed these days before they can be approached. The only stars who go to open market are guys who are on a mid-to-high tier salary, who could potentially go up to marquee player level, e.g. Brandon Smith. The only way to get good players to your club is to pick them up early in their careers, wait and hope that someone has a blow-up at their club and needs to leave, or for another club to have salary cap dramas.

I was surprised to see Enari Tuala is on the list. Quick guy with a bit of experience now at a couple of clubs and can play a few backline roles.

188cm and 96kg 63 games. Ripe for the picking.

From that list I would be looking to raid Manly.
I could make a case for Taupau, Saddler & Funa (he’s studying a diploma in Leadership, which in itself would just about get me to bring him in).
