Off-Contract Players - Who should we approach?

The old demand and supply thing, all teams are desperate to bolster their playing strength,especially those down towards the bottom. So when anything that resembles quality comes onto the market,the asking prices sky rockets

The very first thing we have to do is change our style of football,and select players that have the skills and the physical presence that is required to play this new style of football. I still have some hope for the players we have scattered through the grades, its just going to take a lot of guts on Potters behalf to tap a few big names on the shoulder and tell them to go and talk to coach Fletcher

Was told much the same thing about a month ago with a lot more detail.Bit dangerous to start writing about unsubstantiated rumors on such a delicate matter, could end up in a liable case.

Rumor or no rumor its obvious all is not well at Belmore and it also shows their is not much difference from being on top to being down near the bottom. As for picking up any of their players, my choice would be one of their front rowers but with Roycee on board the x Penrith player in big Frankie will probably be our target.Imagine Blair and Pritchard in the same team, Fulton will have to do 100 tackles a match!!!

Tolman is a good toiler, but imo offers little more than Bell or Buchannan just higher profile.

Tolman is a toiler/workhorse. But he offers a much high quality then Bell. In fact I would call Tolman the best and most consistant workhorse forward in the comp.

We have a fair roster of forwards with the kids we can promote, i would look into Winterstine or Chase Stanley, to go on the other side of the park from Koro.

If we are going to rebuild I dont see the use of buying props long in the tooth. Promote and nurture a culture of clubmen. If we can pull it off, quality up coming players will be like moths to a flame for our development program and could have long term benefits.

What about Brett White? Would be pretty handy to have him coming in up front to back up Woods and Buchanan.

Tolman certainly has a good work rate, but he's not really a yard eating 'bopper', which we badly need. But I'd welcome him in a heartbeat.

BlacknWhite is near the money… our forwards are coming along nicely and Galloway is still on holidays. We desperately need two top shelf backs (any position will do me) but a top shelf halfback would be a dream come true... then and only then will we be a threat to every team in the competition. Our backs are as good as they can be with the guys who are there now. Two of them need to be pensioned off.

Hasn't Tolman signed with the eels on big $$, like black & white said after the way our fowards played last night & with Bloodnut and groat to come back I am feeling more comfortable with our pack.

But our centres are shite…, I am starting to think that we stuffed up not getting jennings.
I am not familiar with the juniors if there are any other Koro's coming through
