Sometimes a change of location is required to get the best out of footballers, we've all seen it before. Maybe Mbye still has more potential under the right coach, with the right gameplan. He's only ever been coached by Hasler up until this season, and Dessie was trying to force him into the halves role (sound like Johnny Cronk to me).
He's been called into the QLD Origin team, obviously in terms of esteem he's there or there abouts. Funnily enough not a single Tiger otherwise troubled for Origin.
Mbye is a runner there is no doubt the kid can run.
The reason why his not considered a clear cut gun is due to his development.
Like i said its clear cut his biggest asset is his running game and his been told to be a hooker and organising half back in the past.
Mbye position has to be to run whether its full back or a running six but you will get the best out of him if all he has to think about is to run.
A coach has the duty to to provide the best environment he can to nurture his natural ability. Dogs asking him to play hooker 7 and centre set him back given the right coach his got all the attributes to be good.
Well thats a bummer, because I feel we bought him as a utility not just a fullback but I do hope he can catch as well as run.
Yeah lets do what the bull dogs did sounds like a good idea
Yes, if thats what is best for the team. Josh Reynolds would like to be 5/8 at the moment but has said he is more than happy to play anywhere just to be in the team.
