Daily Telegraph reporting an hour ago that Aaron Woods might be off to the Roosters.

THE Sydney Roosters have made a late bid to entice Aaron Woods to the glamour club.
Woods looked destined for Cronulla this time last week but talks have stalled with the Sharks, who refuse to budge on their offer.
Canterbury aren't desperate to offload the prop so they won't be low-balled.
The Roosters interest is intriguing with props Dylan Napa and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves —given they have also sounded out Manly's Marty Taupau.
The situation with Woods could move quickly with Cronulla still favourites to land the Kangaroos prop's signature.
This Monday could be Woods and Moses Mbyes final game for the Bulldogs with **Mbye still in talks to secure an early release to join the Wests Tigers.**

I have watched all bar one of Bulldogs games this year and Mbye is not the Messiah everybody thinks. Has a tendency to allow kicks to bounce, sound familiar. Remember the game against the Broncos. Lost game on the bell for pushing Darius however had ample opportunity to take that kick on the full in the first place. Will be a great addition as Utility.

It's pretty tedious people making this claim… I see nothing along the lines of everyone thinks he's some messiah... No one's saying it so cut the crap

I don't believe that's true. Everybody goes on about the Capons sombrero. It's just an illusion. The reality is simple; Players go there simply for the kudos of playing for the Capons. They all take pay cuts just for that opportunity. I know I would.

Apparently Bulldogs don't want to pay anything and sharks wont budge unless Dogs pay majority.

Can only see Newcastle paying a huge amount but that might not be a good enough club to carry Woods to a finals series like he wants.

313K is the average Nrl wage Woods is worth what someone is willing to pay i would not pay more then 750K for him but how his manager got him Teddy and Mose big money contracts is amazing must be able to sell ice to eskimos

We won’t commit that money to another prop in either case. Other holes to fill Woods doesn’t fit he is a high minute plodder ala Tolman. We have good props but need an impact prop off the bench basically the opposite of Woods. To run hard, hit hard and cover for 30 minutes a game.
