Official Moses Mbye signs till 2022..

You guys missed my point. After our 3 signed elsewhere, the forum did collectively do a total aboutface in regards to them as players. Before they signed they were guns, after they left “well they weren’t that good anyway”. Even was reading that Tedesco wasn’t even that good. No different to how they are talking about Mbye.

That's how we roll ….
Tedesco did play in a dinner jacket there's no denying that !

Got him for about the same price we paid Brooks

Good footy business , welcome to WT's Moses , time to live up to your Biblical name sake

What monetary figure do you have for Mbye?

So how many positions to fill
Who much money to spend
$600000 ?
3 positions ?
If we upgrade 2 from development on minimum contract which we would already be paying some amount we may still have around $500000 to spend for this year
Does that about right

About 500-550 k first two years

Yeah that's what I was told .
You reckon brooks would be on that ?
I doubt it .

Brooks took a pay cut last year when Ivan re did the contracts for the fab 4.

550k

Thought he'd be on 350k Tops

Pretty sure 550 k was the dollar thrown around Hobbo

550k is cheap for a halfback in 2018, but was a fair price and Luke signed it straight away when Ivan offered it.

The previous contract he had on the table was a fair bit more… 750k+ I think

Glad we kept Brooks instead of Moses another Cleary win.

Our forum on current players -

- Benji should play dummy half.
- Marsters should play second row.
- Tim Grant should play fullback.

Our forum on a new signing who's currently playing fullback -

-He's not a genuine fullback.

4 years too long IMO, plus we don't get him till next year…what happens if Tui kills it at FB the rest of 2018?.

That can only be good. If Tui does so well at fullback for the rest of the year Wests Tigers are a very good chance of making top 8 in 2018 for the first time in years..

I like the signing because of what Moses brings as a person and multi-skilled player but, I agree with others, that 4 years is too long. Plenty of time to lose form or motivation…..

No one knows what players are on so pointless guessing

Wouldn't be surprised if Benji pulls the plug after this year… I don't really get the excitement some are displaying re Mbye... He reminds me of Tui

Its always baffled me why people try to guess players wage per year. Your figure is between $1 and $1million dollars. What do you think your chances are of being right? I bet the odds of all these guesses being wrong are much shorter.

Im not sure why everyone is so concerned about how much we’re paying him.

Ivan has already shown he’s a great judge of talent, and knows the right amount to pay a particular player. Not to mention all of the decision makers are well aware of the salary cap issues we’ve had in the past.
