Official Moses Mbye signs till 2022..

Mbye can’t come soon enough IMO.

Tui had a shocker last night. He showed a serious lack of pace when the roosters made a line break and their two points before half time came off the back of his falcon/unwillingness to contest a high ball. Troubling signs to say the least.

Contracts mean squat these days, from both sides.

No I get that he can negotiate around his contract, but it's not up to him to "advise". It's up to him to request. He can advise all he wants, but only his employer can release him from a contract that ends in 18 months.

I was more implying that this is happening with all contracts, not just Mbye's.

They bought in Milford & Ponga might shift Muster back and Milford to the halves, either way i doubt Mbye is getting a run at this stage.

Why people are convinced he’s the saviour at fullback has me stumped. As mentioned earlier, he’s only played half a season at fullback. His asset will be his versatility, not the fact he”s a gun fullback.

If he comes into the side this year, I think he’s more likely to play hooker. That’s the position thst is killing us atm.

I agree he is not a gun. But he is a massive upgrade over Tui and has been performing well for the Dogs until being shopped.
We are not far away every quality player we bring in especially fullback, hooker or edge back row will make us a much better team.
We are seriously weak at these positions although until he comes it’s madness not playing Thompson at fullback.

Siliva Havili would be a good signing for hooker. Hodgson will be back soon and push him out of first grade. Ricky said last week they are trying to re sign him.

Yes, he is a fullback. And playing in the right system will be a damn good one.
 
He is a utility and can play a number of positions only time will tell where Ivan will be use able to him at his best for the team
