do not take the knights lightly - wests tigers - otherwise you will end up on the wrong side of the scoreline.

Dear Newcastle Knights

Do not take the Wests Tigers lightly…otherwise they will put 50 on you...

Rochow was also in a moonboot after the Manly game....precautionary...may see McQueen get a run..

I can't believe that numpty Paul Kent said we'd struggle as the year went on due to our depth. We have some really solid players to call up due to injury (case in point with McQueen).

Really has no idea….we have tonnes of depth compared to other clubs. Almost in every position we have multiple options with nrl experience

Its a really balanced team despite the injuries.

We have reliable depth to call upon which makes for a welcome change.

Back line stays the same
Taylor back Lawrence out ✍tick
Strong defence
Godinet back Reynolds out✍tick
At this stage more dangerous in attack but no forward passes please
Still a very strong side
Can't speak highly enough of Twal Eisenhuth and Aloiai
3 of the best young forwards going around

Reynolds has bad shoulders I know from the Dogs trainers Hassler refuses to play him at hooker. I think this is a polite way to drop him for team balance. He’s an average hooker and Benji is locked in at 5/8.

I think McQueen will come in to replace Lawrence, Aloai will come off the bench. Goodinet will miss out. ET can cover if Liddle is injured.

Good team considering. Personally would prefer Mckillwrick to Godinet. Also don’t think Aloiai can pull off 80 so we are going to have more forward rotation. Would not be surprised to see McQueen come in to starting side. He would seem a logical like-for-like replacement for Rowdy.

I know people will disagree with me but I don't McQueen has done enough to be considered for NRL yet (if he is being kept on standby). He is gradually gaining in confidence and getting more involved in ISP but, to me, looks ineffectual when running the ball. Only another honest toiler with experience but that's obviously what Ivan wants. He favors this over line bending ability, otherwise he'd consider Felise instead.
Also, not sure about Godinet's selection…

Disappointing that Lawrence is out but best to rest him and make sure he is right. The team looks good and I expect them to back up last week.

A week off will do him plenty of good, a recharge and back into it.

You took the words right outta my mouth.

If Liddle starts playing 60-70 mins. With ET in the side, we might see Gamble as the Utility.
While Reynolds is out for a month.

Hmm, suspected Lawrence would miss this week but Reynolds is a surprise. Taylor back is a boost though.

Really hope McQueen gets a shot. Glad to see ET back. Would rather McIlwrick over Godinet, but to quote the former fake captain, it is what it is.
