On Tamou's efforts last night, we'd have been better off keeping Huth. Same player, just cheaper.
Having said that, I have no idea about his leadership qualities, but most seem to think him an excellent captain. At any rate, 2 years ain't too onerous. (Well, not compared to Packer/Reynolds/McQueen et al).

He will have one of the youngest packs next year and his experience on and off the field will be invaluable... And the kicker... we picked him up for 350k a season for 2 years...
We don't have the money yet to go and buy a massive bag name signing so we are been smart until we lose Packer & Reynolds..

I think it was a very smart move

Huth is not even close to the level week in week out of Tamou.

"he brings experience on and off the field" this is rugby league not bridge, they have to bring sticking tackles fast play the balls and hard runs, the rest is fluff and it shows in our performances.
