Dare I say it, the club, from management to coaching staff seem to be going in the right direction.

We need youth and speed. No wait a 32 year old, by the time he plays for us, and that's the right direction. Seriously its the same mistakes we keep repeating, nothing has changed.

What about JAC?

That would be a great signing but we haven't got him yet.

Glad to see him join. Welcome aboard, we need the leadership he can provide- we were supposed to get that with Packer but certainly did not.

Name a consistent forward leader that we have in the middle of the field...oh wait...

It’s going to take us finishing in the 8 consistently before that is justified imo.

That is the destination, I said we are going in the right direction.

Punting Benji, signing a forward leader, not paying overs, not flinching at Melbournes demands, moving on McQueen.....etc...etc.

Welcome aboard James. He fills a void lacking in current squad. Experience and Leadership and 2 year deal is perfect. Coming from a winning culture as well. Next JAC and Hetherington come on down. Still need to say good bye to overpriced Plodders.

Great signing. We have been weak in the middle all year, we have lacked leadership all year and now we have effectively 3 new props for next year in Tamou, Stefano abd Musgrove (4 games this yr due to injury).

We need right now leaders. None of our forwards have even played 100 games except Packer, the aim is for Tamou to improve all these young forwards and make them leaders by the time he’s gone.

You want us to invest in youth and we are, 90% of our forwards are still very young so signing an experienced, solid performer to guide that youth still counts as investing in youth I reckon.

It’s also only two years and the price that’s been reported is pretty good value so worst case scenario he gets injured or doesn’t perform it’s not a massive loss.

McIntyre has demonstrated more leadership qualities than both in his short NRL career. I wouldn't be surprised if he usurps both to become WTs' future Captain.

Is James the Captain in 2021 ? Would be a change to have a leader with experience as captain underpants has been a flop!

Could be, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Great signing. Unlike Packer, who is an impact prop whose stats don't always tell the full story (although this season they do paint a dreadful picture), Tamou actually has the numbers to back the hype. He is having his best season since 2016. I see no reason why he can't continue this season's form into 2021. Looking forward to seeing him in our colours.

Have a look at the Donkey's youth Mate - really ripping it up.

Maybe you want us to have the spoon????
