:roll

Can imagine Billy walking down the tunnel screaming Tigers Tigers

He's actually a commentator for Broncos games for the ABC in Qld

God, if that is all there is then I think that we should stick with what we have.

A lot of up and coming forwards have been named and I believe that Seve will stand up ( barring injuries ).

Your kidding Col :brick:

Taumalolo is in the Top 4 back rowers in the NRL

Myles would be a brilliant 13

So, out of 99 players you have picked Taumalolo, who I think is overrated, however he would be your pick. Fair enough. Then there is Myles. How long has he been around and how much longer will he be?

My point was that there is no use paying overs for players who may have some sort of reputation, but would not be a good fit ( in my opinion ) into the team I believe that Taylor is putting together.

Also, do not forger that there are 16 clubs bidding for these players. Most, if not all, will have more money than us to spend, so for one player we will have to pay overs for that player.

Stick with what we have got at the moment and let's see how it goes this year.

magpiecol so you reckon Taumalolo is overated 😱pen_mouth: are you serious ? The guy has played 60 NRL games for the Cowboys and played for the Kiwi's already at the age of 21 , he is a gun and with plenty of NRL experience to go with it , may i add Semi Final experience as well . If you think Taumalolo is overated 😱pen_mouth: , i suppose Sirro isn't :unamused: .

I'll have Taumalolo any day over Sirro and that is not wishing Sirro any bad will .

I dont think we need to spend up on a back rower. Between Sirronen, Sue, Akauola, Liolevave, Funaki, Halatau, Santi and Luani we have the position covered.

Give it a year and its one of our strongest positions.

Centre on the other hand. . .

We just seem to be non factors in the player market yr after yr, it gets tiring after a while. Especially when we seem to be the only team who make no effort. For a team who has the results that we've had recently, its really unacceptable.

We aren't the only team who don't compete. And there's a reason for it.

Every time a player of above average quality comes onto the market it's the same team that is linked to them.

Anyone that believes the salary cap is working is kidding themselves.

Between 450 -500 k a season

It's debatable how much he could demand ? It's called supply and demand you want quality you have to pay IMO. No less than 500 k a season - to 650 k would be his going rate .
This guy is 21 years old and 60 1st Grade games already that is averagely 20 games per year since he was 18 years old , worth every cent .
Anyway i can always dream :unamused:

Funny if you think Taumololo would settle for anything less than 5-600k. Even more than that most likely.

I'm talking salary cap , not entire earnings

You would hopefully find 150 k in TPA's for him

I reckon Farah would barely get 650 - 700 k of our salary cap dollars

Centres

Hymel Hunt,

I want this guy…know nothing about him but just his name alone is enough to strike fear in the opp....the perfect WT signing...

Docker would be amazing.

11\. Sue
12\. Sironen
13\. Docker

14\. Liolevave
15\. Funaki
16\. Taupau
17\. D. Graham

Woods and Lodge Starting, future looks bright regardless of signing him.

Adam docker would be the closest to fulton you could get in terms of replacing him

Really rate the guy . Absolute workhorse

Don't we have enough useless Hunts at the WT's already Geo ??

No…. I think if we had a whole team of Hunt's we would be Top 4 every year....

No chance Alex would leave Bris for Concord…

If the tigers have 2 back to back positive years, the entire recruitment equation dramatically changes.

How many other teams can you name that don't compete, there's not many, and the number of teams constantly down the bottom of the ladder who don't attempt to make significant gains on the open market is even less. This whole ''relying on juniors'' is beyond boring, we've had that mentality since 05 and all bar 2 yrs its gotten us nowhere. Its a long process waiting for them to develop, you need to balance them out with significant impact through recruitment, but we never do. We're the most passive team when it comes to wanting to attract players in the competition. Look at the Panthers, they've produced some of the best juniors in the comp the last couple yrs; Moylan, Mansour, Docker, Cartwright etc, yet look at the way they've hit the player market to compliment those juniors.
