NOt knocking you Lauren, but that article is complete rubbish. They make a big deal of taking out semis, rep games and COVID as if it is levelling the playing field, but make no mention of the fact that WT play all the out of town/low crowd teams (Cant explain Souffs this year) at LO & CSS.

Based on this report if we played ALL of our games at LO we would be a better drawing ground than Shark Park, Win, Kogarah & Brooky.

Ramy works for Manly so you caaarn't mention Brookvale..

Anyway..Liverpool has a good case for a Stadium..NRL wants hubs..more people more catchment..

Could V'landys convince Gladys..

Liverpool will be a disaster

I don't think so

Don't even mention Liverpool. That REALLY scares them.

Not sure I get this one home ground push. Would it really improve our win rate? Where’s South’s home ground? They don’t play at Redfern anymore.
I live in the Blue Mountains and don’t mind travelling to games. It’s all a big day (or two) out for me.
Supporting the team is the main thing. I really don’t care where we play. Although a ground with reasonable facilities would be nice.

Some stability familiarity and continuity

Wests Tigers average 12882 at LO so LO is better than Parra Stadium, SFS, GIO, Brooky, Kogarah, Shark Park, Belmore & Penrith, by your logic. Is that what you are trying to say with your "unfobbable" stats?

Interesting point that these "stats" include 57 years of Balmain and WT at LO but dont include Cumberland Oval in the stats for Parra Stadium or Western Sydney

Well if we're just talking wests tigers then LO is worse than Homebush. So let's play there.

Very true @Tiger5150 , also the only stats used for Bankwest are going to be high crowd number as they've been going well and played big match-ups.
I get where this is coming from but as previously mentioned, stats can be used to get particular outcomes if you work them favourably.

Poor article to be honest. As others have mentioned - including Balmain's attendance in the 1960s as a reason for WT not playing there in 2021 is ludicrous.

My understanding is when we signed the deal with NSW stadiums in 2011 I think, they get to pick which home games they want - hence Leichhardt and Campbelltown getting mostly out of towners etc.

Still reckon our best assets are Leichhardt and Campbelltown. 5 each one in Tamworth and one for easter monday/magic round.

If a better option later comes available, sure - but homebush, bankwest or SFS aren't better options.

The numbers don’t lie.

Can you explain to me what those stats prove again?

That LO and CSS are the worst grounds for getting crowds.

Not for Wests Tigers.

Wests Tigers average 12882 at LO so LO is better than Parra Stadium, SFS, GIO, Brooky, Kogarah, Shark Park, Belmore & Penrith, by your logic. Is that what you are trying to say with your "unfobbable" stats?

Well if we're just talking wests tigers then LO is worse than Homebush. So let's play there.

Thats an entirely different conversation, which has some merit obviously, but that is not what you said.

I was asked about the stats in the article. I gave my opinion on that article. You then provided your own stats on wests tigers games only, which brings Homebush into the conversation.

Actually I asked what those stats prove and you said that "That LO and CSS are the worst grounds for getting crowds."

I have clearly shown that the stats dont prove that, so you obfuscate.

for west tigers games. I didnt mention west tigers.

What was the article about? More obfuscation.

it was about shit footy fields.

But the data it used to support that claim was misleading.
