Whould u give up Cambo, LO, ANZ Etc for a Bankwest style stadium that settles us once and for all????


not if we share it with a cast of thousands or. its a compromise location (Liverpool)

Where would you want it?


Honestly, Cambo upgrade. someone needs to support the region. I have a Leichhardt membership so would love games there, no better place to watch the game. (would far prefer a Leichhardt up grade, but thats never going to happen)

We will probably end up at the new SFS though and miss out on a stadium.

Liverpool is so far removed from anything we are about, dogs would claim it and we end up another sidelined team again. just like Bankwest (and SFS upgrade)

Liverpool is in one of our catchment areas though. I always thought a move to Campo would eventually happen but I don't know if the support is there, The Magpies have even left the area.

Vlandy just said on radio the Tigers can share a Liverpool stadium with the Bulldogs if built .
SHARE SHARE SHARE with that is this good for you ! No one wants to share so that argument about the other stadiums is a mute point ! I am sure the Lamb and Mortimer stands will not bother anyone right ??

Liverpool may be a catchment, but so is Cambo and Leichhardt.

Liverpool has zero connection to us, new or old. If we do it, its another sell out to $$$ just like ANZ. yes we are better off financially, but the book keepers run us and we lose whatever soul we have left. we already merged, there has to be a smarter way than Liverpool. it reeks of a money driven decision that cuts off our heritage.

It has to be money driven if you want to compete in the national league.


its not national - 3 states and a territory. besides we are profitable, a new stadium wold cement that if they get it right. that's how we got Sheens (or so they say).

We've been profitable for a while now. this decision is club defining, book keepers should have no say on that, they should make the decision work. Too many businesses miss that.

Fair enough. I think we have no soul due to playing at four grounds in Sydney. We still feel like a merge than a club to me.


we need a main ground. and Cambo and Leichhardt (and Tamworth). ANZ, Bankwest need to go.

even if it's a game or 2 outside the main ground. we are a merged club and should embrace and recognise that.

Pick a couple of games that matters and build a tradition (us vs souths at Leichhardt. us vs Panthers Scum at cambo (or the dogs). Just build a new tradition that embraces the past. No one wants to lose those grounds

I agree with one game each at the traditional venues.

The Liverpool CBD area offered is not big enough and would only fit a 15K stadium. The Badgerys Creek area, preferred by the state government, is were you could build a 30-45K stadium but is not were the NRL or the Bulldogs want to build.

Liverpool and the surrounding areas with the new airport and the infrastructure and housing that is going to go with will make it a very strong area of support for a team that's gets in early

Souths are going back there and it will be there home ground ...Roosters /Souths /Tigers the three Inner city clubs . There is no leagues club next door thank goodness that will appease the fragile .
For us as with many a bit of a trek but if its going to be our home ground so be it we will wear it !
The craziness of Bankwest is ridiculous it would and always will be my first preference right in the heart of the Tigers catchment over the Sydney basin ..but the stubbornness of the few will screw it for the majority .
If you want a fortress you make it your fortress regardless of its position .
