How about in the first half where he gets the ball and runs behind Tuilagi, then runs back around him, which means he has effectively caused a double shepard, so he takes a knee to submit and Lomax strips the ball from him.

Oh well...so many issues in this team, but confident a fresh approach can turn it around.

No footy intellect...To me this is the players to some extent, but also the terrible, simplistic style of play implemented by Madge. In a world where you need quick play-the-balls, mobile forwards, Madge decided to recruit every single plodder in the NRL and reserve grade, then coach them to run one out and grind out wins.

Completely agree it is inexscusable not to be aware of that basic rule at his age

Of all our players , douhi , Brooks included, only Hastings has any footy IQ. That's why we're lost without him.
