Origin 2023

Self Sabotage NSW. Thanks Fitler.

RCG and Jake T are coming back from injury
Gutherson, good player but Nico Hynes offers more
Bradman Best, Another player that will prob get one game and then be put on the scrap heap.

This is a scatterbrain team that lacks cohesion

Will Fred end up with the most 1x gamers on his watch? I reckon so.

That NSW bench is very weak. Compare it to the strong QLD one.
Should be 3-0 with the sides selected.
Let’s see what NSW have inside them….

Haha Freddy thinks theres an agenda against him....losing the plot
Freddy and Brandy are both lashing out.
They have absolutely botched the past 5 years of Origin campaigns.
To have only won 1 game from their past 6 starts, after so thoroughly thrashing QLD in games 1 & 2 of series 2021, yet remaining so smug about their teams, just shows what imbeciles they are.

No he didn’t but certainly won a few bouts off it ( especially a memorable one at an old pub in Mulgoa Road heading away from Leagues Club). He and his brother in law Geyer were a double act!!
I don’t think it’s there any more and for the life of me can’t remember its name.
It's The Pioneer Tavern (The Pio, for those of us who grew up there).

Thanks Susie ! That’s the one, it’s gone now right ?
Actually, just looking at a map and see Pioneer Tavern in Parker Street, not Mulgoa Road so maybe not the same.
I’m sure the one I’m referring to was on the same road as Leagues Club but a fair way down.
And I’m talking about 1970 ?
So may be different.

The Pio is on The Northern Road. Are you thinking of The Grey Gums on Mulgoa Rd? It's set back from the road and in the 70s and 80s it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere!
Possibly, it was definitely on Mulgoa Road so Grey Gums could be it.
Mate when I went there before/after a Tigers game it was a different city to Penrith but the beer was cold and the Hells Angels were friendly ( to me anyway).
Thanks 🤣
