Would be good to see Sheensy in the Coaches box.

It would be outstanding if he is able to mentor our players, encouraging them to learn, challenge them to find solutions for themselves and to give their best. Many of our younger players would not have been exposed to a rugby league mentor of his quality. Gallen considers him the best he has been coach by or anything to do with.

To be fair Simon Dwyer does the stats, and great that the club looked after him, in the documentary it was quite clear that Madge is passionate and throws everything into it, same can't be said for the assistant coaches, a big change is required. Bring in young people that understand the NEW game and how to best work the changes during a game. Hope Sheens shakes things up.

I don't think it's age related.
Bennett isn't a teenager and he's still going o.k.
Craig Bellamy's 61. Wayne Collins is only 54.

It's knowledge and coaching ability, not age.
Trent Barrett's only 43 but his record suggest he couldn't coach a turd to go around the S bend.

Wonder what all those people are doing in the coaches box?
It’s clear some would have job responsibilities and others may be on a “look and learn” mission and/or giving running commentary to the head coach, but during the wild Wests doco it seems like they’re just window dressing? 😂
If they’re on the payroll surely someone in the back office with an abacus is thinking of moving in a different direction? 😂

Do you think Barrett will be able to do that after 15 years of coaching?
