Our halves our future

I think Moses and Brooks are definitely the plan, they are both very young and will be better again next year , but will still make rookie errors, hopefully a lot less of them.

I think patience is the key , i have no doubt we will be there dancing in a year or 2 , and Moltzen is here next year , last year on his contract.

Moltzen? He has no chance of playing first grade next season or any other.

I never said if he had any chance of 1st grade or not just simply that he will be in our 25 squad for next year as he has 1 more year remaining.

 Agree Goose, but I would love to see another top centre play along side of them.Lawrence has never quite got over his injury that kept him out so long..an awesome hard running centre would be dynamite with our two halves and Teddy chiming in :bulb: :bulb:

I reckon they have heaps of talent and want them both at the club but the next 2 yrs could be an issue . But its always a risk playing 2 20yo halves.

One thing I'm worried about us our kicking game and with the balance of our side atm just wondering if Brooks Moses as a pair will get us in semis next year.

Lets hope so but should the club consider a plan b in the short term?

If your good enough your old enough , look at Cherry Evans and Foran a couple of years ago , 1st year in grade took Manly to the Grand Final .
Our Forwards need to get going to create the room and time for our halves to shine

Our forwards must be dumb.
They know what their job is yet they don't do it?

Galloway is a powder puff girl,
Like him as a person but my god….soooo soft.

Brooks and Moses need a halfs coach don't no who but your fittler/ kimmorly hell even tommy the kids need some guidance to show them the way mind you some forwards that go forward ie Galloway and a quality centre would also help them

Why couldn't Potter coach them?

Anyone who thinks Moltzen is a first grade footballer seriously has no idea .

Newtown your incessant digs at Potter are becoming tiresome…..

Why can't Toovey Coach Cherry-Evans and Floran...No he brings in Joey and what a success that has been...

Nothing wrong with bringing the right people in to do the jobs that need doing....Lack of Funds and for-sight are the big stumbling blocks when it comes to the Wests Tigers though...

I'm an impatient guy but our young halves are our future. I'd like us to try and field this side next year but it would take a huge off season for a few players especially blake Austin who would need to bulk up again. I would make a play for the unhappy Steve Matai.
1\. J. Tedesco
2\. P. Richards
3\. S. Matai
4\. D. Nofo
5\. T. Simona
6\. M. Moses
7\. L. Brooks ( both sides of the ruck)
13\. B. Austin ( Glenn Stewart role)
12\. B. Thompson ( not sure if he has signed in S/L?? )
11\. A. Blair
10\. M. Lodge
9\. R. Farrah
8\. A. Woods
14\. M. Tapau
15\. C. Sironen
16\. Ava
17\. J. Sue
18\. M. Cherrington
19\. C. Lawrence
20\. J. Gavet
And so on.
I love this team on paper

i don't know if your trying to refer to me with you saying "Anyone who thinks Moltzen is a first grade footballer seriously has no idea " but my reply was with the original thread stating that Moltzen is still contracted to us next year . i have never said i rated Moltzen as a 1st grader :unamused:

Here is the Original thread from the 1st page in case you didn't start reading it from there:

Lets face it.

The club is at a crossroads. We need to be semi final bound next year.

And is Brooks and Moses the pair to take us there? Brooks looks good enough as half now but his service to backs and kicking game is not quite there yet.

And Moses looks exciting but can he organize backs and is his defence up to it or with the free money Anasta,Moltzen and Fulton departures provide go for a gun 5/8.

If the club chooses wrong we miss semis for a couple years at least.
