Our new number 9

After watching Robbie today i'm pumped to see him pull the Eels apart next week.
He played nearly the perfect game and it's really what he needed, put this with the teams win against penrith and a lowly Parramatta and i think he will get mom.

Have a look at the post match press conference with freddy, he is glowing with confidence and freddy gives him big wraps aswell.

Woods and Farah were best on feild and i think the whole experience will be better for our game against the Eels and the rest of the season.

I have a feeling Farah will play out of his skin for the next few weeks and we will win our next 3 games only for Ennis or Buderas to get picked for soo and Farah to be depressed while we have our usual mid year win loss win loss senario.

:sign: Tigers by 13+ (again)

The man has some fight…

Keep it up angry man Robbie.

People say he's too flashy for Origin but you're right yesterday was a tough gritty performance from Farah. It's a joke that there's even a doubt that he's NSW best 9.

I am just hoping that is how they police the 10 metres and ruck for the rest of the year.

The biggest Rep feedback I have recieved about Robbie is he can sometimes be selfish and he needs to look at the bigger picture. I feel it is these reasons why he is overlooked for NSW… Is Fittler or more so Stuart, really happy with how he played? Did Robbie follow the game plan as directed? I truely hope so, as yesterdays performance should see him back in that aweful Blue Jumper...

My real concern is he hasnt been playing like he did yesterday when he has his Tiger Jumper on... Did he just find form or did he relish the ability to simply do his craft (play hooker) as he had a good 7 to do the other stuff that appears to sometimes weight him down?

Looking forward to seeing how Robbie performs this weekend!

Hes back , back with plenty to prove and yesterday just showed what a talent , determined , strong leader he is , if he plays like that against parra , all their players will want to play for wenty instead of facing the beaten we will give them ,

Watto the big thing is at the tigers he has 2 roles to play which puts too nuch pressure on him and his decision making suffers. Yesterday he showed great respect to Pearce and he played the role he did when Prince was here. Yesterday showed that Sheens needs to simplify Robbie and stop expecting our hooker to also play halfback while making 40 tackles. Its too much.

Yeh good posts watty and KS.
Still 3 more weeks of NRL and he has to back up yesterdays performance.
It was so evident how his game bloomed while playing with a competent confident **real** halfback

I'm expecting big things this weekend. Farrah was in the zone in yesterdays' performance. A complete game. He wants that origin spot and he's going to continue to put his hand up this Sunday. Marshall has copped a spray for going missing in the test also from Kiwi corners so I think we might see 2 fired up men out there on Sunday wanting to impress and impose themselves. I think the rubbish is starting to leave the Tigers camp now, and I think we'll start to see focus and hopefully some ruthlessness. Here we go.

Yep totally agree Watto , it just proves that no matter how good you 9 and 6 are if they don't have a half decent link it prevents getting quality ball to our backs or create space for our dummy half

This was the point I was talking about in a previous thread about why our boys look like princes outside of the Tigers jersey and paupers in it

Couldn't agree more with both of you.
Farah didn't need to overplay his hand with Pearce there.
When it got down to the crunch they both locked the game up- which makes you wonder why the Tigers can't do the same?
Hayne did bugger all at 6 - you wonder what Marshall would have done with a hooker and half controlling the game instead of him.
On a personal note - if they pick Pearce , Farah and Woods you guys could be goooooooooooone this year!

CK You won't get us this year The guys will be stepping it up for big Artie and to disprove the "No Lockyer ,No Qld" factor and now the "Hayne is a better 6 than Thurston comments by Fittler "

NSW personnel have to learn to keep their mouths shut and do their talking on the field and actually win a series before they open their big traps

Where'd he say that?
Dont twist things happy

I think he also meant that Thurston should stay at half.
Hayne buggered it anyway - but once Pearce and Carney blow away QLD maybe Cronk and Thurston won't be so secure in their spots!

Ink Fittler said that Hayne should be Australian 6

Seeing that Thurston is current Australian number 6 I think that says enough

My point is Ink why do ex NSW meatheads come out and say anything that can be used as ammunition against them at a latter stage by the Queenslanders

You've seen for the last 6 years what happens when Qld fires , why give us even more incentive

Almost every year this happens and it is absolute stupidity on NSW behalf

On the back page of the Sunday Mail here in Qld is saying the exact same thing

Blind Freddy says enough

Our best hope is if they let Chris Close run the QRL books after what he and fellow class act Searle did at the Titans.

They will be broke by Christmas
