Seriously, they saw the media we copped last week, our club was again in turmoil, stories of factions amongst the playing group. There should have been a unified front last night, a show of togetherness, even if its fake. But these 3 couldn't even fake it, they showed no heart all commitment at all, this has actually turned me. Benji is done, needs to retire but I would now give him another year and play him no matter what in front of Reynolds, at least he is committed to his team and team mates. Those 3 have lost me completely.

How old are you ?seriously ?do you not understand how teams work ?have a look at a roosters game. A golden state warriors game , a Manchester United game , New York yankees game . All elite systems and all whenever down the sidelines ,or dugouts has their injured or not playing squad players sitting in the background . Always. And when they’re not, they’re told to train with the u21s . If you can’t understand that universal philosophy about teams in general then you sir just do not get it .

Probably,but I dont know the truth of the discussions...
I still think and this is my personal opinion that what has happened over the years has made us look like a far worse place to be attached to and by that I mean Moses tanking to get out ,Tedesco getting out after we looked after him and his 20min debut and Matterson spitting the dummy...these guys should be held to some account,but to absolutely crucify them for leaving early is crazy...we left a tanker playing with us for weeks ...and thats far worse than what these 3 done...

The fact that it’s expected or not expected is irrelevant . If you need to be told to watch your Teammates try and win an extremely important football game , then you sir have checked out and don’t even realise it. Thus enforcing all the negative stereotypes you have been actively on social media negging lately .

I'll admit, I wanted to stop watching the game around 20 mins in myself. Did we get the win? Yes. But it was more that the Manly lost that game than we won it. If you look at the stats of the game, we should not have won that. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we did. But it was 1 of those "ugly" wins. Manly were gassed out cause of injuries. We've had those games too.

Rothfield is stirring the pot cause his team is under pressure by 1 team to miss the finals, the Tigers. It's a long shot for us to make it, but if he can cause a locker room distraction to help that, he will. Just like he was the 1 to report Reynolds get pulled over for a DUI a couple of months ago.

Packer and Reynolds should have to stand in front of the entire playing squad and coaching staff tomorrow morning and explain their reason for not showing any faith, respect, loyalty or leadership by abandoning the players by leaving at half time.

The Wests Tigers staged the comeback of the year to beat Manly on Saturday night after being abandoned by their two highest paid players at halftime.

News Corp Australia can reveal five-eighth Josh Reynolds and front-rower Russell Packer both walked out of Brookvale Oval with their team trailing 20-12 at the break.

In an incident that will infuriate fans at the underperforming club, Reynolds on $850,000-a-year and Packer on $750,000 left the players dug out at halftime and headed straight to their cars.

Their pathetic excuse to coach Michael Maguire on Sunday morning was that they were feeling cold.

Injured utility Michael Chee Kam also left the venue.

Trailing 32-18 with just 12 minutes to go, the Wests Tigers scored three late tries to grab a stunning victory which presumably the absent players listened to on their car radios.

Their disappearance caught Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire by surprise when first contacted by News Corp Australia on Sunday morning.

In the excitement of a desperately needed victory, Maguire had no idea they had left.

It was only when News Corp Australia sent him a photo from Fox Sports cameras in the Wests Tigers dressing room at fulltime that he realised they had gone home.

He then rang the two players to find out why.

“You’re right, they left,” McGuire said, “Look there’s no hard and fast rule they have to be at games.

“Russ was our 19th man and Josh came to be around the boys.

“However I understand from a perception point of view what you’re thinking.

“They didn’t really give me a reason – they just said they were cold and wanted to go home.”

The players declined to comment.

In a bizarre move which has overshadowed the Tigers gutsy upset over Manly, Reynolds and Packer inexplicably opted to leave Brookvale Oval at halftime.

The Tigers then staged a fight back to record one of the club’s best wins of the season but the duo was nowhere to be seen in the victorious dressing rooms.

After The Daily Telegraph exposed the pair on Sunday afternoon, CEO Justin Pascoe and chairman Lee Hagipantelis intend **to hit them with both barrels** on Monday.
