Panthers form and prediction.

When the Warriors started throwing the ball around a bit in the second half it looked to put the Panthers on the back foot. We will also have a couple more days in preparation for this.
They were run down by the Cowboys, looked flat against the Storm and gave up 30 points to a weakened Newcastle side so far this year. The Tigers are in with a big chance here with some forwards hopefully returning.

As long as we play smart, cut down our error rate and play patiently, we should win this. Hoping to see Arana named but also hoping Lazzo isn't ditched just yet. Tough call for Sheens imo. Great to see our forwards back too. Fifita as an impact off the bench will be a great weapon too. Fifita vs Pritchard *drools*

Did anyone see there game in Aukland today?
We could be in for another very long afternoon at CUA stadiam next week 😢

Can anyone give us some hope or are we destined just never to beat these mountain men???

tigers 16
panthers 34

I agree we just cant beat them!!
Penrith = 34
Tigers = 10

pretty sure the warriors were missing price, luck, mannering, vatuvei and ropati (maybe)?

if payten and galloway are back we should win…

for the game against penrith, if wests-tigers can duplicate the defence and attitude of the eels match, have a great chance of winning.
field goal taken, on next set after wests-tigers score a try and convert.

Always tough against the Pamfas.

I swear the majority of Pritchards highlight reels are from playing us

The Fonz whilst he has been WT coach has always struggled to compete with the Panthers. Year after year.

Why? because he doesn't match their size and aggression.

He picks the wrong side. We need physically strong players like Davis and Pritchard. Not weaklingsi

I think 1 thru 17 penrith are strong, a good balance of old heads and young guns. Lewis in the backs and petro in the forwards give them great leadership. Anyway if they play anywhere near their best they will beat us and well. We can only hope they have a shocker but really cant see that happening

No drop ball and we will win…

I hate playing the Panthers more than any other side because we always play poorly... That said... we are a different team this season and the to be honest, i think the Tigers will take alot more from the game against the Dogs then they did (although they took the two points which matters i guess)...

I'm confident Arana will get a run, especially given Lazarus cramping up late in the game against the dogs. I am worried because we all know Fitzy will be on the wing...

Only if we play poorly… both sides fire we'll have a great game... tbh we are a better side though. If we fire, no drop balls and don't give away cheap possession... Tigers will win.

Tigers 28
Panthers 8

FTS: Coote
LTS: Tuamata
Crowd: 20,000+

Like some have said,if we drop our error count,complete our sets & defend like we did against the dogs in the first half
I think we would be to strong for the panthers.
Tigers=29
Panthers=22

what we can't do is start listening to every report how they are struggling with this player and that. Get a team out toplay their best 17 and work on that. I see that it has already started in todays Tele with little niggles to Lewis and Jennings.

come on, wheres the optomism guys?

Tigers - 28
Tries - Marshall, Tuqiri, Taumata, Fifita, Aysfhord
Marshall - 5/6
**Panthers** - 18
Tries - Purtell, Gordon, Lewis
Gordon 3/3

**MOM** - Farah

lot of similarities between penrith this week, and the tigers last week.

penrith deserved fave's, but i think we will bounce back

just cant see the tigers beat penrith at home :frowning:
after their performance against the dogs, panthers will win this one
penrith will get off to a good start, tigers will try to come back from behind

Penrith 28 Wests Tigers 14

FTS- Coote
LTS- Marshall
MOM- Gordon or Coote

Crowd- 16,200

its a big ask to beat penrith a penrith - plus they have dominated us for a while now. plus fitzhenry will be on one wing - what does he offer the team except for numbers?
