If you get to put the same team on the field, week after week, for a number of successive years, you have the chance to become a Manly, with multiple premierships.
The science and the artistry come together.
THANK YOU.
i've been trying to say this for a while, but ive become a bit fed up with explaining it again and again.
we wouldnt have beaten the raiders if we had been dropping half our players as we saw fit, then when random reserve graders dont live up to their promise putting the originals back in. That win was because we had belief, spirit and knowledge of those around us in defence.
Dropping lulia, lawrence, galloway, anasta, sironen, halatau and then reshuffling our entire backline to have nofo at centre and austin at fullback or some other concoction will NOT end well.
have a look at manlys backline in round 1 and look at it now. Do the same for the panthers. Now try that for the sharkies in round 12 or 13 when they couldnt score for 3 games in a row. injuries will screw any team (especially us) over enough in the season, no need to add to that and drop everyone after each loss.
