I wouldn't be targeting ANY of their so called 12 players to be honest. What concerns me of this situation is you can bet your life Parra will come knocking for a few our young nyc/SG Ball tyros. I doubt they'd have any luck with Brooks but Moses I know is of interest to them and I bet there's others too they will tempt. The best batch of youngsters coming through for them are still 16-17 yrs old, so they're still a few years off.

Moses is a parra junior.

The same Mitchell Moses that has come through Balmain's junior system and went to Holy Cross Ryde College?

The Tigers need to improve their playing roster. I don't see them doing that with picking up discards from the Eels.

I read it on the eels forum that he is an eels junior not my info mate.

I wouldn't take it as gospel. He's come through Balmain's junior system.

How anyone could think any of these could be a good signing for us is beyond belief.

 Yeah….coz we are a team choc full of great players aren't we.

And the guys on that list are any better? yeah we're really are crying out for Luke Kelly and Ken Sio aren't we? 2014 premiership here we come

I remember reading somewhere he trialled at Parra and never made it. Then uncle Benny recommended him to the tigers.

Maybe true….but based on parra's history of letting talented juniors go, the fact that he didn't cut it there is actually something in his favour

If we really are considering dean haletau I'd rather Reni Matua instead. Although another light back rower isn't on my wish list. Maybe as a replacement for pettybourne if he doesn't improve his form?

I'd rather a grubby super league prop in his mid to late 20s if we can't pick up a decent experienced prop from the nrl.

Actually, if the club is really looking at haletau you'd have to think its as a replacement for Iosefa.

Tonga would be worth a look at the right price

He was playing origin before he took the money and joined Parra.

Depends on how his body is holding up

Given the fact we've resigned Pat Richards and rumours of Dene Halatau returning, I think we're having a reverse clean out - we're reforming our 2005 squad

let's just clear out some crap and keep space in our cap. Like a 500-750k space and we can make a BIG purchase some time in the off season or 2014, a prop or second rower. We don't always have to toe the line on the cap and it would definitely help us in retention of our young guns if we weren't at 5.799999 million

he played a year of HM with Parra, but as Willow has said is more or less a Balmain junior other than that one lapsein judement

always had a soft sport for reni.
he is versatile.
hasnt quite hit the form he did at the doggies.
but wouldnt mind him as a #6, #3 or #4.

Every Parra fan I know is overjoyed at this news.

That should tell you all you need to know about signing these players: NO NO NO NO NO.

Parra have released/not let go of 12 players , MAYBE they are going to get benji on the books

Benji and Blair 😛ray:

To be honest it would be a win/win situation. We need to get rid of Benji he is going to hold back our juniors; Sandow and Benji would both fire together.

Trippin surely

benji wont be considered by eels they have already said that corey norman will be playing 6 next year to play alongside Sandow. with some of there recruits they could actually be decent next year. i think we need to do the same thing as them and get rid of a few players

Parramatta captain Jarryd Hayne has criticised coach Ricky Stuart and chief executive Ken Edwards after what he described as waking up to a ''massacre'' following a clean-out of the Eels' roster.
>
A day after 12 players were told they were unwanted by the club, Wests Tigers' Adam Blair has emerged as one of Parramatta's key recruitment targets.

What's this rumor I'm hearing that Parra is genuinely interested in Blair? Please please please..

You couldn't write this stuff!

I can't recall mentioning going after Kelly and Sio :unamused:
I would have a look at Willie Tonga- he would be at least as good as Lawrence and Ayshford at this stage of their careers. Maitua would have to be at least as good as BMM also.
Look at what the Storm do, they don't recruit too many superstars recently, so if we can sniff out another clubs discard for the right price so be it.
