Parra interested in Simona

What gets me are the 2 clubs supposedly chasing Simona - Eels and Sharks.

Parra have signed Watmough, Foran and Scott as well as having others they want to keep. Not much change there.

Cronulla are scraping up money to keep Gallen - which I'm sure they will do. Not much change there either.

Yep as mentioned the same talk about Simona going to the Sharks and Eels was floating around two years ago,believe it when i see it ! The WT would be crazy not to sign him as his best years are ahead of him,and we need another class centre so why would we let one go !

I'm sure if we offered him $350,000 a season it would be more than competitive with the sharks and parramatta's offers given the players they have on their books for 2016 onwards.

It is a pretty decent offer without breaking the bank and more than likely close to if not better than what he is being offered to leave the club.

Considering we are light on centres and he is our best option going into 2016 it would be pretty inconceivable that we would let him leave.

Anything is a possibility of course and he may well leave but I just can't see why a deal can't be struck considering he is an awesome centre, he wants to stay and we are in desperate need of quality centres. Mind bobbling.

The club might not see it as a decent off though, if that's what it is. Also, you don't know the situation with the cap, they might not even be able to afford to make that kind of offer.

If he is the best option moving forward I am a very very bad judge of a footy player ..my opinion on him is LAZY with the odd good game .I would be disappointed if the club does resign him average at best .

Looking at players off contract if the club wants Simona they will have the space. It may come at the expense of Richards for another year. You would think letting Moltz go would free up enough cash for both though.

Pretty sure he didn't resign til midway trough the season back in 2013 so I'm not that worried. Can't blame the guy for wanting to test his worth. He is coming Into the prime of his career and his next contract should be a fairly substantial one. Might have also been waiting to see if he made the NZ side.

If we don't resign him I'll be pretty filthy considering we came out and said center is a place we're looking recruit next year.
