Parra interested in Simona

The club may have another player from another club in their sights for 2016 or we are not prepared to match a rival Clubs offer or it could be total BS.

I doubt they would let him walk if they did not have a decent plan B,Taylor has already identified that we are light on for centre's. Of course player mangers are well known to leak a few porkies to try and attract a few extra dollars so I would not be to concerned at this stage

Probably just pushing his price up. Like others, I've seen the pics of him with the other young fellas and they all look tight, I doubt he will go unless with make an offensive offer.

I don't know that Simona is playing the kind of Footy that JT want's us on….
I've heard him make negating reference of the "Flashy" passes....
I think Simona would make a great NRL winger, Not sold on him at centre. I think Pattys footy nouse keeps him solid. - He's been in grade for about 4 years now.
Maybe they're looking to promote Heleta or another ringin?
I'm not too concerned about Morgan, I've seen him play as many good games as Simona. I don't think His inside men do him any favours most of the time....
At worst, He's a great replacement for Lulia...

Parra and cronulla surely do not have any cap left to sign NRL players,we on the other hand should have enough for a rep player, but who knows.

Seriously??? What is he looking for? Simona has been one of our best. I would really hate to lose him because it _will_ come back to bite us on the arse - guaranteed!

Triple M said in their broadcast last weekend that he apparently wants too much money.

After what tedescco did to stay with the Tigers, no one in the team has the right to be demanding overs.

Personally I don't think he is good enough to demand decent money. In terms of outside backs, Patty would be on far less and even on equal footing I would still pick first.

I wouldn't be upset if he left. I beleive in the structure of the club now and I know they will offer what is right. He won't be a big loss. We have a lot of good guys coming through that will take his place.. Or we can always pick up a diamond in the rough like naiquama again.

Cronulla have enough on their plate trying to resign Leutele , he is off contract end of this season

I can only see Parra being really interested in him

But if Cronulla want to do a straight swap for Leutele I'd certainly listen

more likely we'd get Ayshford back

To illustrate how un-informed these so called Jurno's are have a look at ZEROTACKLE today…in the spate of a few hours they reported opposing stories for the Titans halfback...until the WT report otherwise anything else regarding Simona is clearly wild speculation!

Don't know why we are worried.
If JT wants him and he wants to stay, and is not asking for a ridiculous payment. Then he'll be here if not, he won't be. If JT doesn't want him , he's probably got someone in mind to replace him. If Simona wants to go elsewhere , he will.
All of the above is out of our hands, and just as likely, this thread is based on a garbage report from some hack who had nothing else to write about.

Does he confirm he's staying in the start of this article??

As he perused the fine print of his latest contract with the Wests Tigers – a contract that expires at the end of this season – he finally came to a question which he was unwilling to put pen to paper on.

"When I signed the contract they had a box there whether I wanted to play for Australia or New Zealand; I left that blank," Simona told NRL.com.

"I had a little chat with my manager and he was sweet with it so I'm just concentrating on playing good footy and when an opportunity comes I'll definitely take it with both hands.

"I'm actually New Zealand born. I came to Sydney when I was six years old but I was born in New Zealand so I think I'm eligible for both. I haven't ticked the box yet."

Refers to his current contract which expires at the end of the season so …No...
