Add Cowboys & sharks to that list
You can't just accuse every team that's doing well of cheating - somebody has to bloody win!

@Harvey said:Still waiting for the NRL to actually catch a club cheating the cap. The only clubs "caught" so far were those where the evidence has been shoved under the NRL's nose. Look at the penalty for the broncos who were basically caught red handed, but circled the wagons rather than admitting guilt or having an insider betray them

Fade to Black
Does everyone in the Parra organization get the same treatment that you have given the Melbourne organization ??
One answer for one person.
Happy
Not a chance coz I hate the Storm more. Don't let it keep you awake tonight though.
@diedpretty said:@Fade To Black said:Apparently if Parra can talk Watmough into retiring he will receive his remaining contract money under the insurance policy that pays out blokes who have to retire through injury and then they will immediately be available to play for competition points as of the next game in a fortnight- what a friggin joke that is.
I wonder if Taniela, Dwyer etc got this same insurance payout and if so did their contracts cease to come off WT salary cap for the remaining years left on their WT contract?
Don't tell me the NRL haven't carefully planned all along to hand their punishment down this representative bye weekend in order to enable Parra to sort their mess out in time for their next game in a fortnight…...keep those paying fans coming through the turnstiles and lining the NRL's pockets.
I don't doubt what you say but surely the NRL wouldn't allow them to use that loophole to get out of the mess they're in. Fans from other clubs would be up in arms. And if they do allow it other clubs will be using this to go over the cap. We could use it on Robbies contract next year. Pay him out of insurance money - goes to England and has a miraculous recovery to play in ESL.

Therefore removing them from the against tally of teams they have played so far.
@tiger_one said:And the Eels have been stripped of their 2016 Auckland 9s trophy….....

I've never heard a Storm player from that era ever admit that his club cheated.
It will be interesting to see if the current Parra players stick to that laughable script as well.

Surely he would know whats going on!

You would think that every first grade coach would have his finger on the pulse with regards to how his club is faring with the CAP.
