Pascoe sanctioned by the NRL

I sometimes wonder if the NRL has to meet a quota, and their fines are based on need rather than levels of dishonesty.

That is not being cynical that is telling the truth as it is.The NRL is either corrupt or inept and quite possibly both, could anyone imagine this happening to the rorters or broncos because i cant

or settle out of court quick smart

I think the NRL would already know what position of power they have or not have

I think Ayoub is going to be the key in this whole situation …..you'd think he prefer to be seen being positive towards clubs /players and less so with the NRL if he has a brain he knows who pays his wages in the end ....and it ain't the NRL

Gee Cronulla must be up to their eyeballs in the stuff, the NRL havent even finished the investigation into them yet.

I have said this since the NRL charged us, they are either incompetent or corrupt, maybe both

There’s no doubt that they are guilty, they’re not denying that.
If they were innocent, don’t you think that with a Sponsor that’s a Major Law Firm, if there was an even slight chance of being innocent, they’d be getting stuck into theNRL.

The buck stops at Pascoeand if it was another club,we’d be happy to see their CEO in his position.

How can they be both? If they were corrupt, they can’t be incompetent because they are obviously competent enough to get away with it.

I was just wondering if Pascoe's willingness to work with the new "A" League soccer team playing out of CSS has anything to do with Turdbergs excessive penalties handed out to WT and Pascoe

Hope so. Would like to see someone take then on. Guessing the issue won't be resolved any time soon.

Does anyone think that this will not get ugly … the NRL and there media lap dogs trashed Pascoes reputation, took away his means of making an income and probable destroyed any chance of him being a sports administrator again this is serious stuff . The silence from the NRL is deafening....

I think there would be plenty of sporting organisations both within the NRL and outside the NRL that would jump to get Pascoe running their club even after the NRL’s smear campaign. The NRL might be able to pull the wool over peoples eyes by using their media papers, but people in the business would know quality when they see it

The "no time frame" game is the ace up the NRL's sleeve. Make Pascoe sweat it out and just sit back, watch, and wait. Sooner or later Pascoe will contact someone in the club and then the "integrity" unit will pounce. Pascoe will be further discredited, and the NRL gets another couple of hundred grand. A nice little earner for them.

….And that is why I agree with Mike above, the time is now to take the NRL to court. Don't let them sit back and make us sweat, force the issue, especially if our legal counsel is as confident as they seem to be.

Makes you wonder why they just didn't go that way straight away given the NRL's seeming ambivalence to the appeal..
