Pascoe sanctioned by the NRL

@cochise I actually like that there are some objective views in this thread, but why do you keep stating that we’ve breached the cap?

The NRL has, at this stage, found that we broke the cap rules which is a breach of the cap?

I would also believe if the $639k was added to the cap for 2015 as the NRL believe it should have been it would have put us over the spending limit that year.

It is good to read a local politician and Marina Go publicly supporting the WTs in this matter. It is good to get a little insight into what is happening and how this may play out. Who doesn't love the potential for this to turn into another PR disaster for the NRL?

They aren't because they don't know the full details

Much like Darcy Byrne …...

That's OK you keep believing the sun shines out of Darcy's behind

As others said a pollie trying to scrape up a few extra voters by scraping the bottom of the barrel with gutter tactics

Get off your high horse Happy. I have never suggested anything that in anyway deserves this comment.

If you cant converse without having a sook, perhaps put me on your list.

You choice to poke the bear , I have ignored your post

Your the one defending darcy to all and sundry over the comments of Marina Go

If anyone would know it would be Go …..not Darcy

Thanks cochise. Think you mean a breach in (the) cap rules and regulations, and not necessarily cap - which implies salary cap.

Your second point is more hypothetical.
This would kill any chance of RF taking up the ambassador role next year. Which absolutely sucks. Because love him or hate him, he has a lot to offer in a mentoring role for the club.

Well I had you on foe …you’d think you’d learn

Only thing to learn is that some people cant handle someone asking a simple question or engaging them in discussion. It really is quite petty.

Happy to be on your foe list.

Sorry folks , but while you are all arguing about either we did wrong - absolute liability on salary cap rules or we were clean (no contract signed etc)…what irks me is that the process affecting someones reputation and livelihood involves NRL briefing someone like Danny Weidler prior to the decision. What other reputable, respectable organisation involves giving secret briefings to the press before announcing a penalty - It's a disgrace on every level.

Breaching the cap rules is breaching the cap.

Love your work Amalfi.

So true and so wrong on so many levels.

You need dumbing up if you believe that guy.

I was having a go at you because you believe Phil Gould is the cause of all this. Not our CEO. It's hard to walk past that level of stupid.
