Pascoe sanctioned by the NRL

Do you still believe this is Gus’ doing?

Yes, yes i do.

Sorry if not everyone is down with that. I understand some people will never come around to this idea. At the end of the day its only what i believe to be true.

Justin cracked some eggs sticking up for this club and refusing to let them have Cleary.

This is Gould calling in favours and getting his own back.

How can you add an amount to the 2015 salary cap if it has not been paid????

In fact, Farah has not signed a contract for that amount.

You think they cheated @cochise, you have stated that heaps of times - I don't.

We'll see if they have or not if it goes to a court of law. We will be none the wiser if it stays in the NRL / Greendope hands. They have an agenda in my opinion and it needs to all be brought out in the open.

You know exactly why you were on my foe list

Acting as if you knew what was going on in my life is why …especially after I had said why I'd left the Forum

Your probably lucky I didn't notify the mods at the time

This is getting the thread off point

Simply put against your argument I'll take Marina's knowledge of the whole situation over Darcy's knowledge of the subject

Patriot, more than 50% of cases fall down on process - a process that is highly questionable here - quote from Danny Weidler 22nd December 2018 "I have been given some insight into the Sharks and Tigers cases. It seems clear to me that the NRL has a mountain of evidence against both clubs."

Yes, I think it is possible that they cheated. I hope they didn't but if there is a contract signed by the Tigers then that looks dodgy, the NRL has stated there is a contract.

If it has been promised as an inducement to Farah then it gets includes in the cap, its simple really.

If we have accepted the NRL's findings, as has been reported, then we will know as well.

Go for it.

Mods at the time read the posts. I even sent a private message to one of them stating that i was sorry for causing any issue. however i wouldnt tolerate someone not being able to forgive a guy a genuine mistake.

A person apologised to you and youve held a grudge ever since.

Mods may take it a different way to what you think.

How about you let it be and we get on with this thread as i had already done before this last post.

I just wish that this saga was ending…the speculation and euphoria surrounding this situation is astonishing..did we cheat, did we not cheat,Pascoe doesn't know the rules,Pascoe is the best thing since sliced bread for the WTs,there isn't a signed contract, there is a signed contract offsite,Greenburg has an agenda against WTs,Greenburg shouldn't be in charge of the NRL and on it goes....

When we finally hear from our club and we are given a genuine outcome, then everybody will be happy that it is over..

Do I think we cheated or are in the wrong?? I don't know enough about how the cap works or doesn't work, all I know is that this has been a very distasteful and upsetting situation for Pascoe, our club employees, the board and us the fans...if we are wrong we will pay the price,if the NRL are wrong Greenburg should pay the price by being sanctioned...it starts and ends with him...

I’m never quite sure if you’re trolling or not but surely you get my drift.

Not trolling at all, if you breach the rules you breach the cap?

As I have said many times the NRLs accusations are swiss cheese. You take this matter out of their jurisdiction, and any decent barrister would bend them over in court. There was one area that worried me, but from the information I have, it was not acted on making it not admissible in a court of law. The rest would be up to the NRL to prove, and knowing what Farah has stated to this date and believing he is telling the truth, good luck with that.

The silence from the NRL is deafening, another trial by media using a journalistic hack to discredit a person and destroy there career.
This is a serious situation and not to be taken lightly all avenues of the legal system has to be brought to the for .

Jeez, I love a good conspiracy theory!
So far we’ve had it being Clearyy’s fault.
Robbies Fault',
Gus’s Fault.
Greenbergs Fault.
Any sports Journo that you want to name
All we need now is for someone to slip a Kardashion into the mix
And we’ll have all of the likely conspirators rounded up.

Unless , of course that it’s just a case of Pascoe trying to pull a swifty and getting sprung
Funny that , how one specific person has been singled out as the cheat.
It doesn’t seem to have any grey areas about it.

Can’t we get the football to be brought forward,

Which journo and article are you referring to? Where Pascoe had been discredited?

Well this could be cleared up today by the NRL simply by not accepting the challenge by the Tigers , I am sure the hack journalist would accomodate his masters in this matter. How long do the NRL need for such an open and shut case of rorting and salary cap cheating to gain an advantage over there rivals . As I say this matter could be cleared up today it is the NRL that are prolonging this issue nobody else ! No conspiracy theory here just incompetence…..

Yeah, 2 weeks is long enough. Anything shorter would not have been a long enough time to review our submission but they've had long enough now.
They cleared Barba through quick enough to appear decisive.
