Yeah Milky. Left it at that and didn't add anymore seeing as it got a few off side.

Yep, first to admit I didn't believe you. But good work. Keep the scoops coming but try make them a bit more positive  haha

Fox news has him signing with Manly, a very disturbing pattern arising here, anyone with a bit of ability has no confidence in staying with the tigers, they can only see progression with other clubs.

Are you surprised ??

Look back over the last few years and you'll see what sort of dysfunctional club this is.
I just hope that Cleary is able to change a lot about this club.
I thought that we'd progress after we got rid of Mayer, but we still have a lot to be desired with our admin. We've had people hired then are gone in a short time.
A chairwoman who looks and acts disinterested in a press conference about sAcking the Coach, a CEO who fronts up to the conference looking like he just got out of bed after a heavy night out.

Players signed ,then released after a couple of months . A captain sacked for no real advantage to the club( unless people think that paying him 750 k to play for someone else is an advantage)
Bargain basement Coaches who had no idea only excuses hired and sacked, ( although Potter did have a horrific run of injuries. )
A CEO who couldn't run a club if his life depended on it( thank god he's gone.)
A Football Manager hired then sacked before his seat got warmed .
Players released without any better players to take their place.
Buckets of money thrown at the muppet pair when it was obvious that they were overpaid and no where living up to their hype.
And now this debacle of having one great player and three lesser lights , (who think they are stars ) off contract together, as well as having a team that aren't fit enough for a under 12s game.
Apart from that , we are all systems go.

My understanding is that there is a 10 day day cooling off period. No deal is done until that deadline is passed.

In the case of Paseka this has not passed - so at this point they are not obliged to advise anyone he is leaving.

You could ask why he was not picked in the NRL squad if he is as good as they say, who picks the team?

Well he's what 18 and just starting. The point is more they signed him until next year to develop him but now they let him go. Why not retain him and see what happens? I don't see the upside in releasing him.

Maybe the club is finally sick of developing players for other teams to poach once at NRL level. Maybe they have decided to follow the rorters road to success and develop no one.

Doesn't apply to mid-season signings, im pretty sure.

I'm starting to wonder whether following this team is getting all too hard….

Only starting to wonder now????????????????? Hang tough, one day (don't ask me when) it will get slightly easier.

Silvertails forum has some intersting discussion on this young lad, http://bit.ly/2omSpNs

Now isn't that interesting - great pickup DonnyBrasco.

Maybe we aren't completely stupid after all.

Wanting overs, and then won't do the dirty work? I'd pass on him too.

This is the interesting stuff, rest is just reaction to the rumour about Paseka and a hundred questions "what is he like" responded with "here look at youtube".

The bloke can't / won't tackle, other than in patches and won;t get down and dirty in the forwards battle. Very much in the Dave Taylor category. The Tigpies have invested heavily in trying to remedy that without success. They have had one on one coaching, the lot and the bloke still thinks it's touch footy. Ultimately the Tigpies concluded that he wasn't going to be fixed any time soon and he was frustrated because he thought he should be playing NRL. He requested a release because he had been told he would play NRL this year and the Tigpies have not yet released him, but probably will.
\

_We don't need another TRex but on the positive side the Tigpies are a basket case. Maybe in a more stable environment he'll kick on, Sironen seems to have flourished since he's changed clubs._
Yes T-Rex is another example. I really don't want another T-Rex or a Dave Taylor, but I am assured by my Tigpies mate that's what we are getting.
\

Ralphie is right, this kid needs a lot of work defensively. His missed tackle count is horrendous.
\

Hearing the same, big guy with no heart. Likes to run the ball but hates the tough stuff. We have a few young stars that need a kick up the backside, why sign another. No way near ready for NRL, JWH and co will eat this gentle cat alive. If you want a big guy with heart and aggression look at the Broncos Payne Haas. Tigers rated Thomas Mikaele a better prospect and value going forward. Would have rather we resigned Bainbridge and Parker.
