What impact does rolling out past players have if they don't motivate this team? Newcastle seem to always fire up on old boys days and even the Raiders embrace former greats so it's a shame we as a club could not use this to our advantage today😩

I just wish our players would get angry. and show some passion in the jersey Woods is a very poor captain. There appeared very little talk today. It was all very flat.

I think the coach plays a part in players passion for the club. Look at the Bulldogs, the players can't stop talking about how much they love Des and how much they want to play for him. That helps the players create more passion for the club.

It's frustrating because the fans seem to have more passion for the club than the players. We desperately need a coach that will motivate and imbue the players with that passion. Hoping Ivan's that coach.

Mate I didn't take a pot shot at all , just saying re hashing Farah isn't healthy , it doesn't matter who was right or wrong , its done now , we can't change it

I have no doubt's Robbie would be fighting to the very end out on the field , he was arguably our greatest ever player

We just need to get through 2017 as best as we can possibly can and hope we can find a Messiah to fix this mess , because that is what it is going to take

Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves , put yourself in the shoes of any potential signing from another club , why the hell would you even want to come here for a look at our facilities let alone think about signing for market value

Things were meant to be up on the up this year - and we have hit rock bottom. Many fans tipped us to make the finals ( I know you didn't)

I see no way we can avoid the spoon. Some of the things I see on the field is like a side in round 25 not Round 5.

As a fan I'm angry and I think I have a right to be.

Ok I shouldn't be making this about Robbie , but people are having a laugh and a dig at him getting benched for Souths. Yet were a complete joke, worse then we ever have been. We have no leadership or mongrel at all on roof the paddock. Woods is a rubbish captain, showing zero passion.

It's horrible.

As inconsistent as Benji was there was always a hope of a Miracle that we could win the game despite being no chance

Since his denature i never get that feeling
Nowadays i find myself turning the TV off before 80mins because i know it will only get worse

I watched another debacle again today. I do not think that the signing of the …... so-called four will help the club at all!
The things I would focus on at the moment are:-
1\. Sign Tedesco for a reasonable amount if possible.
2\. Sign the few players like Aloiai, Taylor, Suli and Idris, who can tackle by using their shoulder and driving into the player just below the ball. The bulk of the rest are arm grabbers, who will never learn to tackle at their age, so they are not worth persevering with.
3\. Teach the players to run LINES in attack to support the man with the ball, instead of just throwing the ball back and forward across the field and hoping the opposition will fall over. The players, who cannot learn these simple plays in a short time, should NOT be offered contract renewals.
Until these things are fixed, the Club is wasting their time on many of the top 25 players.

I think it's all fluff we have 15,000 Members how many were Freebies ? a crowd of 13,000 Today and how many were Dragons ?

The Club should be paying the fans for giving up there time from there loved ones and dragging there backsides to witness this rubbish week in week out….i could see it coming miles away .
This Club won't get 1 cent out of me until they show me purchases of players that are proven at NRL level , what a joke of an Organisation.

Don't even care if the so called Big 4 leave our club ( the whole lot of them ) though i will be shattered if Teddy left but will watch with interest at his Career blossom even further with whichever Club he goes to .

However its bye and large a roster that scrambled 9th last year. and missed the finals by 1 game. With some players that are meant to be coming into their good years.

I know they are not finals material but our performances are embarrassing.

And we can only put 6 Points on a Dragons side that were 2nd favourites at the start of the year for the spoon .
Widdop was toying with us and we are wasting our time and waiting for Moses to sign pfft please , Widdop's Manager needs to be contacted ASAP tell the Dragons they can have Brooks and Moses in exchange but not Naiqama :laughing:

You mentioned the fact we finished 9th , there is 9th and then there is 9th

We had a lot go our way last season , Parra ,Roosters Souths ,Manly and a very long tail (pardon the cricket terminology )

I picked us to come 10th this year and I probably thought that was 1 or 2 spots too high at least.

Still, doesn't mean there performances this year are acceptable.

So true..Cleary,Bennett,Bellyache you name it would make no difference..we need at leat five quality first graders to point this club in the right direction
