What a shame he didn't stay with us over the years. Still looks the same player from 8-9 years ago only with a wealth of experience and nous.

Does everything right in terms of positioning, great attacking weapon and safe in the air. His speed looks acceptable. Looks like a bullseye goalkicker and outstanding kickoffs. I think he will be really consistent for us and a weapon if we get the kicks right.

He is the difference between an experienced players that adds a lot of quality and value, compared to Anasta an experienced player who can no longer cut it at NRL level.

he wasnt bad for the first 25 but than after that like everyone else just didnt get any ball

hate to say it but if he performs this year but we could lose him to NSW origin side this year. he has never played for the blues and definitely could be a weapon for the NSW team

Love those kickoffs.

Looks like he'll get plenty of practice this year.

That's funny cos its true.

But Big Pat is back and what a legend. Hasn't missed a trick.

The try in the 2005 GF was legendary but I still remember that tackle in the prelim match where he put Mark Gasnier into touch. An unheralded play that was so so crucial.

He is a big part of our history and am very happy to have him back.

He was good with limited opportunity yesterday

Nofoaluma is back next week hopefully Ink

They will only have 6-7 different options to attack us through

Welcome back Pat Richards. You did nothing wrong in the first match of the season, you were just in the losing team.
We hope that with your talent as a kicker of the ball and the gradual improvement of the team we will win many matches this season. :master:

maybe if we utilize his field goal kicking prowess far more often we might be better off

Indeed, in my opinion if he had of kicked 20 field goals in the 2nd half we would have had a better than average chance at winning the game.

Lulia's side. 4 missed tackles from him, 2 of which led to tries.

Koro's just got that stigma of being a bad defender now, he was wonderful in the air. His defence coulda been better but he didn't push in and allow an overlap to be created which is an improvement. But lulia needed to make those tackles

Glad to have him back. He should be kicking for touch also.

Are you allowed to kick for touch using a tee ala parramatta in the 80's??

Not sure. Great if we could. We'd be taking a tap 10m out from the opp line every penalty we got! Don't think patty would need it though, he has a mean boot on him.
