A pretty good argument can be raised to say this weeks 1-7 is stronger than our NRL 1-7.

Maybe 2-5, but 1 & 6 isn’t even close. Mason is miles behind Bula & Galvin is miles infront of Fainu atm.

Fainu needs to play some games in a row and stay on the park - I rate him highly but it’s not even close atm.

Sezar is annoying me alot, I actually think the game is going too fast for him.

Latu has been injured but looks more like Wakeham at present. I thought he was supposedly on every teams buy list ?
Obviously patience required.

I was meaning when grouping the 1-7 together in both grades, our NSW Cup 1-7 looks stronger, not player for player.

Gould in commentary before Fainu received the headknock said is he a NRL halfback.
Well that’s useful when we’ve just spent a shitload on a new No 7. Or do we move Luai to 6 and drop Galvin ? No way.
So another high priced back up and Benji has already said he wants to keep Sezer for another year. Crazy !!!!

I view it as a strength in our roster. Luai is a rare gem which we somehow managed to get away from the Premiers. Fainu coming off the interchange can play a number of positions.

I could see latu later on sometime playing lock at
some point, really solid defence and good handles

Nobody on the planet truly believes Solomon Alaimalo has ever shown anything to suggest he’s anywhere near the same quality as a rugby league player as what Brent Naden is and that’s just one example.
You must of slept through Nadens games in first grade this year.
