A pretty good argument can be raised to say this weeks 1-7 is stronger than our NRL 1-7.

I reckon play the two sides against each other at the beginning of the week and the team that wins fields as the NRL side. Nothing to lose and would be a good experiment…and a good laugh….

Stats are up. A few observations from them & highlights video ...

Mason, Naden, Sullivan, Johannssen, Matamua, Sukkar very impressive.
Ngutlik, very good attack stats & amazing play-the-ball speed! That's what we need as @Iron Fist mentioned.
Feledy, missed tackles poor. Defence is halting his progress.
Vaihu & Broederlow, missed tackles poor as well. A couple of Vaihu's bad misses led to tries.
Looked a good team effort despite those with poor D mentioned above.

Naden playing fb. Makes error on his 1st play. Then a simple try. Latu drives in the tackle...but he drives him towards the try line. Down 6 nil after 4 minutes.

Won't show up on the highlights but wow...Latu just made an impression carved up the defence from halfway stepped the fullback and threw a perfect offload right on Valevatu's chest for a try. Valevatu drops it cold.

Bunnies kick behind Alaimalo to score. But we score not long after from a nice inside pass from Latu to Naden who then sets up Feledy to score. Bunnies are up 12 to 6. 15 to go until half time.

Say goodbye to Jordan Miller's kicking licence. Ended up with the ball tackle 5 and just booted it straight to the winger. Following set has Bunnies score. Down 18 to 6. We are creating enough chances but keep dropping it. Tupou looks good on his return.

I havnt seen many games but Feledy is scoring tries every game in a woeful team. Hows he not been getting a look in for firsts.

Even though Latu drifted out of the game at times, he still set up 4 tries. Unfortunately Feledy bombed one and Valavatu the other.

Latu, Johannssen and Naden were our best. Alaimalo also made some strong carries from the back field. The rest were abject, especially Valevatu and Vaihu. Feledy scored a try but was found out in defence and driven back multiple times. He will never cut it in the NRL.
