46-18Judging by the comments would i be correct in assuming they got beat badly?

So going by today's game do we manage to find a way to keep Faagutu in Cup? Now obviously he'll need to adjust to certain things like game speed and speed around the ruck but that will come with time and experience don't you think?A few comments on some of our players today after watching on NSWRLTV:
Faagutu - got about 25 mins & was strong in the middle. Some nice charges showing very good leg drive.
Ogden - has to be cut at season's end. Low IQ & good for about 4-5 crucial mistakes per game.
Reilly - was good, continuing his strong form this season despite a dropped bomb. Goes to show how a player can improve when left in the same position all season.
Hopoate - good with limited opportunities. I loved the speed & effort he showed when chasing a long range break.
Scolari - Ron Massey Cup level winger.
Ngatikaura - average. Not a top 30 hooker IMO. Despite being a Pathways junior, I'd say we'll let him explore other opportunities for next season or pay out his contract (unless something shifts in his mindset over the last 8 or so rounds).
Tuki Simpkins - goodbye.
Sione Fainu - showed promise as a linkman lock but would have liked him to take the line on more. We need to see more of him in Cup than Lambkin is giving him.
Mansfield - just has that look about him that he could explode in a game one day if given the opportunity by his halves. Was ok today as was Boyling.
Blore & Camroux - I'm willing to give Blore more time since he has only returned to rugby league but atm both are Ron Massey Cup level halves.
POSITIVES - Faagutu showing he is up to this level already in 25 mins; Reilly & Hopoate; Sione Fainu given greater time & was good; Mansfield & Boyling.
Dean blore played 2nd half with a arm injury if you watch the game didn't look like he could raise his arm shoulder elbow or bicep I'd predict his first half was good pass selection kicking defence goes to the line not a bad hit out for someone who's been out of the game for a period of timeA few comments on some of our players today after watching on NSWRLTV:

Kind of makes you think he should have been starting games in flegg. Getting more mins than just coming off the bench... Same as TDS, was barely playing half a game in flegg then rested for a few weeks then NSW cup then first grade. So going by today's game do we manage to find a way to keep Faagutu in Cup? You would think so if that's what Faagutu was able to produce in 20+mins off the bench for cup. Faagutu was also unlucky to score there at the end too, I thought he got the ball down but was called short by the refKind of makes you think he should have been starting games in flegg. There is no plan to our junior development. None. Absolutely chaos and random individual decisions
💯 I like Naden as a player when he’s at his best, but he only ever seems to be at his best 1 in every 5 games and the rest of the time he clearly doesn’t give 💯 and plays like he doesn’t care.If Triston Reilly really is doing okay, then we should give him a shot at FG. Naden was woeful against the Cows and deserves to lose his spot for that performance.
Naden to nofo wing , Noffa was the worst , Reilly into Naden s spotIf Triston Reilly really is doing okay, then we should give him a shot at FG. Naden was woeful against the Cows and deserves to lose his spot for that performance.
Thanks goodness we planned for the future and extended Naden for another couple of year earlier in the season. And Kepaoa💯 I like Naden as a player when he’s at his best, but he only ever seems to be at his best 1 in every 5 games and the rest of the time he clearly doesn’t give 💯 and plays like he doesn’t care.
Benji should be telling him he wants him at his best for the next 5 games, otherwise he’s free to leave or if he stays he will be playing NSW Cuo.
I know. It wreaks of desperation at the time. Naden, whilst a good guy, has proven to be too inconsistent and prone to brain explosions. Kepaoa just lacks critical IQ especially in defence & just hasn't kicked on.Thanks goodness we planned for the future and extended Naden for another couple of year earlier in the season. And Kepaoa
Naden or Keparoa are both not willing to dig deep when times are tough, so they are no good to us.I know. It wreaks of desperation at the time. I would swap either of these two for Connor Tracey, Kayal Iro or Paul Momo.

Based on comments at that time, I think it was Sheens who over hyped him, so I’d say the contract extension was his recommendation. He has always been that way.
He is 28 in December, can’t see him picking up another level around consistency.
No club wanted him when we signed him & he was open about why he joined us (he knew he was a walk up starter).
Why we extended him for such a long deal beats me.
