I would just like to see Mason-Latu-Bud-TDS play in the Cup spine over a prolonged period now (maybe with Luke Laulilii given some time at fullback, wing, centre).

And keep Solo Saukuru at right centre, Kit Laulilii build minutes at lock, keep Sukkar & Broederlow on their respective edges & keep getting minutes into Miller, Herman & Johannssen up front (add Faagutu).

Use Bailey Hodges as TDS replacement for a break to see if he has what it takes.

Then they can bring up / drop back Zak Clarke & Cayne Nicholas as required.

Key is period of time for these kids to play in their proper position - something that just has happened for whatever reason this year.

We are banking on these kids to evolve and develop into positional 1st graders & not all become Fitzy utility players.

Why not give Faagutu1st choice at lock and let Kit fight to get it back.
Has kit got any other strings in bow other than lock?
Would that be his only position in the NRL side?

Good point about the spine having a prolonged period to work together. I would also like to see the Penrith system where I believe all teams train with similar attack and defensive systems meaning that when they are called up to NRL level, they know their role and slot seamlessly into the team

I can’t believe this is not a thing at every club. Seems common sense to me.
I expect my trades to be teaching the apprentice the way I want it done.

It looks the same attacking process to me, no idea what they are doing in both grades.

We don't have an attacking system. There's our first problem. When you have squads with very limited skillsets you just have to play to the few strengths of those players. And we keep continuing this cycle, with players of average ability and then introduce youngsters into weak squads and tell them to create magic out of nothing.

The only thing similar in our three grades is we know how to stink it up.
 
See we have about 11 of our cup 17 have been in our NRLside at some point this year so
If they get flogged that will say something about our depth
Hopefully they do the flogging !
 
Woeful start. No intensity in defence. Sukkar seemingly hooked after 10 minutes and rightly so. Down 10 nil...and Jets had a fair try taken off them.
