The sooner the better as Luai offers littleHow was Javon Andrew’s today? I’m pretty sure he’s out long term 5/8
hes ready attack wise, already offers similar to Luai. Just not too coinfident about his lateral defence at this point. The sooner the better as Luai offers little
According to someone else on the forum, Luai missed 6 tackles.hes ready attack wise, already offers similar to Luai. Just not too coinfident about his lateral defence at this point.
you make a good point. Perhaps its worth a try Romey Javron combination. Latu starts at 9. Haywood and Sione the options to replace him off the bench, depending on how the game is progressing.According to someone else on the forum, Luai missed 6 tackles.
Not exactly top shelf defensive effort.
Stats can lie sometimes. Our left side defense has been solid enough in the two recent floggings. None of his misses jumped out during the game.According to someone else on the forum, Luai missed 6 tackles.
Not exactly top shelf defensive effort.
Javon spoke after full time 2day ,his knackers are still in his torso, Big frame ,game smart ,some time to go for him yetJavon is a boy in a mans body. I think he might be ready. If we can start mason at fullback, who was very creddible today, i just think Javon has the shape and skill to be better. I love Masons effort.
Time to move him on I think…wasted 30 spotDisinterested as usual, @Jedi_Tiger still thinks he should be playing NRL
he looked lost at times ,like he was just running a decoy but caught the ball, and went dumbFeel like at times he was just carrying defenders with him, give him a week or two to get back into rhythm and he’ll be carving up
He will get a run towards the end of season of we continue to drop off and out the 8 , he went ok again , Roberts will also get a shot on the bench if he keeps improving , he also went wellJavon spoke after full time 2day ,his knackers are still in his torso, Big frame ,game smart ,some time to go for him yet

He is strong a creative, but I can’t remember seeing him play a full game, so I’d say his stamina is an issue.I heard he's very good and has big strong shoulders and great tackling is any of that true?
Surely Turuva the right centre where he played reasonably well for a couple of games and bring Skelton in on the right wing. With To’a ordinary in defence and Herbert having an average game as well. Who else is a possibility for a call up. Would prefer a defensive minded player. Would javon be up for a game or 2 or will it be someone from fleg
How do you rate Bailey HodgesVery good performance for the Magpies yesterday versus the Storm.
Can't knock any of the players as they all contributed but going to call out 3 in particular ...
My MOM was Josese Lanyon who is just growing in confidence each week at this level. Decisive out of dummy half & very good in defence. Glad the club has him secured for another 2 seasons, not sure on contract.
Vaka Aho laid the platform up the middle & scored a nice crash over try off a beautiful Lanyon pass. 193m including 65m post-contact from 57 mins showing his tank as well. He does have at least one handling error & one poor missed tackle most games but I hope the club gives him a T&T next season. He's better than both Bunty Afoa & Mav Geyer in the middle imo.
Tino Tavana, well done son. He took his demotion well & played his typical Tino very good game - intercept, efforts on high kicks, defusing high kicks in defence & scoring with an acrobatic finish. 166 run metres from 12 carries too (50m from an intercept). Stats show 5 handling errors but most if not all of these were by contesting attacking bombs so the error was 5-10m out from the Storm's line.
Also loving the effort & line speed from Luke Jack and Lanyon's partner-in-crime Bailey Hodges out of dummy half and clean-up work in defence.
Arguably our most ineffectual player was Starford To'a, am increasingly concerned that he cannot use much of his left arm. Seems to be cautious using it to fend or push off a player & to push up off the ground during ptbs.
