Take away his bullocking runs in SOO during the 2009-11 series and what has he done(apart from the punch to Nate Myles!)….. He has not given Cronulla much value over the last 2 years due to injury….
Gallen has had the nick name of “medicine man” in the NRL circles for many years now…His body has changed dramatically over the last 5 years….Now he is a drug cheat thanks to ASADA…
For me he should quit the NRL and head off to boxing….he won’t be missed at all!

If he does suffer depression, and the never ending ASADA investigation with him as their prime target wouldn't help out, then he does need to seek help.
He swore in a tweet and he should have been smart enough to know better.

Oh god… The players took banned substances. It doesn't matter who gave it to them and where they came from- they took them and end of story. What do the players want from the nrl??
Depression is an internal battle and wish Gallen a quick recovery but it shouldn't be an excuse for anything.
People these days don't want to own up to their mistakes and shift blame on someone else.

Whilst not excusing his tweet (he definitely should've known better) you're right it's certainly not the most heinous of crimes. Anyone can rant and rave all sort of expletives at home, at work or amongst their friends, but once it's expressed on social media, that's the end of it….you become the worst person in the world! I swear social media will be the death of us.
On a side note, depression is a serious mental health problem that shouldn't be joked about or taken lightly. Much like dementia, it's insidious and in-discriminative. It's the great equaliser in many ways because on the one hand, you have Gallen, who has fame, money and has achieved a lot in his short lifetime, while on the other hand, you have me - a nobody, with little money or achievement to speak of, yet we both have depression - go figure.
