Paul Momirovski

Has a similar build and upbringing to Lomax but not the same set of skills. Could get a lot better if he tries hard. Good thing is doesn't have a brain fade in him.

Momo was very good tonight. I hope our centres are that good.

I don’t know about very good.
He knocked on in his own 20.
He should of passed to Staines instead went himself and lost it over the line.
He failed to give Staines good ball for most of the game.

He was bound to get space as all the backs do at rhe Panthers when the forwards roll and Api/Cleary/Edwards/Yeo/Luani run the wide plays.

Haha

Should mention all the great things Jimmy the Jet and BJ did today

LOL at all those that thought Momo wouldn't get a start in 1st grade at the Riff.

Made more running meters than our so called star centre’s combined aswell .

And 10x less brain farts

Daine Laurie for Paul Momirovski? If only we could do more deals like it. They're both good but one has the potential to be great.

Let's look forward: who's our centre next year?

Yeah, it was a good deal seeing as how we supposedly had a glut of centres but no full back depth at the time.

An even better deal would have been Joey for Daine Laurie.

Pleased that you at least acknowledged that Momo is a good player, unlike some of the knockers on here.

Momo is a decent squad player and a capable centre. I don't know that Joey is. But Momo lacks speed and size. He's a smart player and does a role, he's just not someone that's going to be fundamental to any teams success. Eisenhuth also looked good on Friday, though. Teams with momentum and space make individuals look good.

He is bigger, faster, more elusive and has better football nous than Garner who we have playing in the outside backs much of the game. 😝

Probably fair to say most would have been happy for Paul to stay with us, but almost unanimously if not to the person would be ecstatic and whole heartedly agree with the swap that brought Laurie to the club early.

BJ wasn't on song yesterday, but he did put in, as did Roberts.

No still not as good

Sorry Av, no one is believing that, not even you.

I don’t rate Momo at all.

Ps - I wasn’t the one who downvoted your post

I know you don't rate him, but surely you have to admit he's better than the two we had out there today.
Having said that, I think Roberts was guilty of trying too hard and some errors attributed to him weren't his fault. I think we'll see some good things from him. BJ. Well, that's another story.

The scoreboard wouldn’t have been better with Momo playing for us today.

That's a dumb quote. The scoreboard would have been different if anyone was in place of BJ.

Now thats a dumb quote. You starting center in place of BJ we would of been thumped given you said anyone...... BTW Momo doesn’t play on the left & we traded for Laurie, so if we kept Momo Laurie wouldn’t have joined but keep going.

I still agree that Laurie for Momo was a good deal and Laurie was very good first up. I've always said that. What I've also said is that Momo is a very good centre, which half this forum don't agree with. I think this weekend was an opportunity to compare what we let go to what we actually did keep.

Without doubt, a good deal but BJ for Laurie would have been better imo. If the guy can’t do some damage and give some stick to sticky in a contract year, then I think he’s done imo. To his credit though, when Hudson slipped in an uppercut to Luchy he showed some restraint. Surprised the ref didn’t award a penalty, but as the game progressed I was less surprised by the reffing.

Lets see how the season unfolds.
No 2-5 would look good in our side yesterday as they didn’t get any ball.

I do think momo is competent, a stretch from very good however & Naden gives the Panthers more. Be interesting to see how their squad unfolds over the next 2mths.

Momo is good centre, the issue I have is he and Doueihi are very similar players and I only have room for one of them. In my opinion Doueihi is the better of the 2 so I was happy to let Momo go to give him a chance elsewhere and to pick up Laurie a year early.

I felt at the time that Moma had a place here at the Tigers.

I dont see BJ and JTJ going the entire season.

Perhams TommyT is the answer for us..
