Plans for Christmas '21

Greetings all! I thought we could with some light hearted chat about people's upcoming plans over the break.

I am staying locally in Newcastle. My work has a site wide shutdown from Christmas through to the 9th of January, so I intend on taking full advantage of putting my feet up. I will drink a little too much and eat far too much over the next couple of weeks.
I will be going to see the new Matrix movie, and the Ghostbusters reboot. I'm getting a new camera from the family so will also go walking at Glenrock, down to the beach, to see what it can do.

What is everyone else's plans over the next week or two? Hoping it's a good time for all. Merry Christmas fellow Tigers!

Up in Port Macquarie for a couple of days pre Christmas and then onto Grassy head for a week and a half with my wife’s family. Checking out all the local breweries while I’m here

6 weeks post Achilles surgery so I’ll be kicking up my feet doing sweet bugger all. Normally we’d be at my uncles beach house down the coast fishing and riding the quad bikes

Probably take some small amount of happiness knowing the covid thread is now closed but bitter sweet cos I can no longer read the comedy that gets posted there.

Second and last. Our eldest is six. Got a girl this time so get to experience both. Been an absolute [This word has been automatically removed] of a pregnancy, just waiting and crossing our fingers that she holds off until the 30th so the wife can deliver locally and have a water birth.

Daughters can't come because of COVID uncertainty but we''ll catch up with the younger one in January and the older one when we go to see Jagged Little Pill in Melbourne (she's playing violin for the show)..
So, the missus and me at home staying away from people - roast pork for dinner with beers, cold Vietnamese spring rolls for lunch. MIght get a fish in off the rocks if I can get some livies and the rain holds off.
