6\. Anasta - 3 metres in attack (not a typo), 1 offload, 5 tackles, 1 knockout (himself unfortunately)

8\. Woods - 168 metres in attack, 1 line break, 4 offloads, 5 tackle breaks, 29 tackles, 2 missed tackles

surprised by the stats of our forwards except woods and galloway.

sue/taupau/blair/thompson seemed to make a lot of easy metres.. we were on top of them all game in the ruck.

as always, a poor kicking game.

I think Tapau is missing Gavet as he bends the line for Marty to capitalise, should be back this week for Fulton.

Sironens jaw looked swollen when he was seen on the bench, hope it's not broken

I thought Lawrence had a good game. Very good timing when he went down from the knees in the back :smiley: , we needed that little brake as we were shot at that stage. Glad he didn't go off. Ran strong, good angles and a couple of good grubbers behind the defensive line. Seem to have more lateral movement.

Maybe he's been told Moltzen is coming in to the 6 unless he can find another position :smiley:

But seriously, that take from Anasta was pretty spectacular, maybe NSW should put him on the wing for game 2…

Couple of things:
-Thompson has been really impressive, just the energy he brings. Making 12 Jersey proud like Gareth Ellis did
-Woodsy makes Big Sauce look ordinary.. KG just doesnt appear to make the same impact. He used to be able to drag 2 defenders with him but his leg drive is on the dive .. :frowning:

Otherwise good effort from the team.
Nofo and Simona were out on their feet at the back end of the game. Uate really was a handful

Player and team stats have now been updated, metres made and tackle counts for most players have improved.

Thomson's stats are immense especially considering the defensive effort by the Knights. He has come along way.

He's one of those players I want to go well. Humble, puts his body into everything and never gives up

Do you think maybe he has been like that cause he is playing for another contract ? But years before he wasn't that great
