No great shock,the rorters take their most important players word for it.I am possibly being far too cynical but that could well be the end of it with the NRL stating "No clear evidence has emerged after exhaustive investigation" .That statement to be issued an hour after next years draw has been released.

Isnt that kind of what should happen? What is the alternative you suggest? If Teddy (or anyone) says it didnt happen and there is zero evidence that it did happen, you hang him on the word of someone you dont know?

Mate Im not judging anything, the exact opposite. Im merely stating that in the absence of any evidence, I dont really understand what action you think would be appropriate?

Agreed however racism is a world problem and found in all societies.Widespread education has always been seen as the best way to fight against racism and to a large extent i would agree with that however with the availabilty of more modern forms of communication i feel it is a 2 edged sword as it is far easier to promote hate/division using the same methods.

It is a world problem. A close relative of mine was dux of a degree course in a University in another country. This was his second degree, his first from a Melbourne Uni. He was not allowed onto the podium as he was a foreigner. All students who achieved this honour were allowed onto the podium except my relative.

If Tedesco did actually do this, its pretty bad and poor behaviour and should be held accountable....

I believe her man, no one would make up things like that just for the sake of it. But anyway, good luck to both parties - nothing will come out of it. The only thing that you'd hope will happen is that if he did do it and even if he doesn't admit to it that he learns from it and never to do it again.

What Teddy did in Townsville could have easily had him spitting out some of those nice shiny teeth the rorters paid for if his teammate was more incensed.

Teddy was on the end of a punch from an Italian teammate who thought Teddy was coming onto his girlfriend. Misunderstanding apparently as Teddy apologized and kept his teammate from being thrown out of the WC camp.

I'm shocked to hear people's stories about him - always appears to be a decent bloke.

He should be deregistered by the NRL to be perfectly honest but no doubt they will let him keep playing and another club will pick him up. Just hope its not us.
