Canberra and Brisbane lads get away with murder usually. I’ve mixed in lots of circles that include these guys and can tell you, they aren’t just loose. Some border on criminally psychotic when they are on the piss and the drugs… which they are on a lot.

For these two to get picked up for fighting, it must have been a decent spectacle that attracted the attention of the coppers who are constantly wandering around those areas of the city.

Wighton was booked to be the special guest at a kids ACT rep Oztag barby this afternoon. Wonder if he made it?

Manslaughter is a bit different than DUI ....but yes he can't be held responsible for his Mum's actions ....but I imagine she didn't get a lifetime ban from all junior RL games because of Payne and who he was ......

Cops don't know if you're play fighting or actually fighting. If a pair is wrestling, they will break it up. For them to use 5 cops to arrest one person, there must be something a tad more serious.

Public nuisance is a crime too. Up to the cops to decide if they wanna charge him and yeh fair enough if there was just one or two cops, they may do it for the glory but if there are 5-6 cops involved and they collectively agree to charge you and arrest you on the spot, something else is going on too.

Being on the piss and just "having fun" isn't an excuse for being a dumbass in public. Can't see them missing more than a couple of NRL games though. The game welcomes thugs and "alleged" criminals. Loves them.
